I believe that your images should look and feel exactly like you, as if you stepped out of your photographs into real life. My style is natural, vibrant and true to color and I enjoy providing a client experience that is unique, well-planned and most of all, fun! By the time your wedding arrives, my hope is you'll see me as a trusted friend helping you enjoy your day! A lifelong New Yorker, I love combining the creative with the technical and finding the beauty, art and magic in life as well as good food, dancing to 90s jams and my senior rescue cat, Ever.

With a calm and relaxed documentary-style approach rooted in my background as a TV producer, my goal is always to bring out your personality and love story in beautiful images that reflect candidly joyous and connected, intimate moments. I welcome couples of all backgrounds and stand in strong support of the LGTBQIA+ community. Love is love. *While based in NYC, discounted travel applies to those in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area!

    We are so happy with how our city hall wedding photo session with Emily went. She was fantastic at giving direction, while keeping the session fun and comfortable for us both. She was responsive to all of our emails and we had a great planning session with her, as well. She came up with some great rainy-day alternatives just in case, too.     Emily photographed our proposal, and when I tell you that she captured every single moment in the most beautiful way, I mean it. I couldn't be happier that my fiancé found Emily to capture this special moment in our lives. Not only are the photographs incredible, but Emily went above and beyond and even took videos of the full proposal. On top of that, Emily is so kind and has such a calming and positive presence. For such a personal and intimate moment, that really matters! Emily captured every single expression and emotion in the most flattering way.     Emily photographed our wedding in Brooklyn in Nov 2023. We had a small and somewhat unconventional wedding - at one of our favorite bars, with dinner at a restaurant just up the street - so we know we wanted a photographer who understood the vibe we were going for. We had an immediate connection with Emily, and she was SUCH a pleasure to work with. She worked with us in advance to plan out locations, make a mood board, and time things during the day of - the latter of which was VERY helpful. The photos themselves were everything we could have hoped for, and Emily made it easy to organize and share them, and to make prints and albums. She is super responsive, professional and easy to work with, and I can't recommend her enough!
