We are a family owned Studio that takes pride in our beautiful wedding and portrait photography, candid photo-journalistic style imagery and cinematic video productions. Dean Michaels Studio has been published in more than 100 national and international magazines, including People, Life and Star Magazines.

We are experts in the art of making people look good! Capturing the excitement of your wedding day is our number one goal. Our unobtrusive approach has couples wondering how we manage to capture all of those special moments while staying behind the scenes. Our style is always thorough but never intrusive! Every Dean Michaels Studio photographer and videographer takes great pride in capturing the essence of each couple's day, as no two weddings are alike. The style for each wedding is determined on the personality and tastes of each wedding couple.

I would choose Dean Michaels studio in every life time to photograph my wedding! Wow! From start to finish .. planning, photographers, everything was seamless. And my pictures and videos were everything I could have ever asked for. Highly recommend!!!

I had two photographers and they were professional, upbeat, thoughtful. I also had a videographer, who not only paid attention to detail, but gave me great advice. Dean Micheal's Studio was phenomenal! One of my bridesmaids commented that they loved that the photographers captured every detail. They took so many pictures in creative ways too. I can't wait to see the pictures! Also, before your wedding, a rep will contact you to make sure you have everything you need and give you time lines. It was super helpful that I could write questions and change times with quick replies. Book them!!!

We loved working with Dean Michaels Studio for our wedding photography! The studio was recommended by the Knot, but their picture quality, great reviews and straightforward and transparent communication were the features that made us choose them over other photography services. We went with the economy package to keep to our budget and chose luxe edit for our primary wedding photo. Christy answered all our questions thoroughly and assigned us Aggie as our lead photographer, whom we absolutely loved. Aggie reached out prior to the wedding to go over the schedule and was punctual (and by that I mean early) to our first location for the photo shoot prior to the ceremony. Aggie was professional and sharply focused on the best angles, background, photo opportunities, and behavior that favored us (she kept our large bridal party of all personalities unanimously focused on the goal of getting all the possible family photos at our 2-location photo shoot prior to the ceremony. Quite a feat.) We received the final photos about a month our event and they were organized in sections (photo shoot, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), and we’re easy to download and share with family and friends. As expected, the quality of the photos was extraordinary and we were crying and laughing over all the memories and emotional state each photo captured. The luxe edit photo was stunning and was brimming with our love. I’m looking forward to printing so many of the photos and sending albums to our families!

The result includes lighting and posing techniques from studio portraiture, quickness and problem solving skills from commercial productions and readiness and attention to detail from editorial coverage. We believe that a studio versed in all of these fields will be ahead of the latest trends and will be able to provide the best professional insight for a superior experience and final product.

Wedding coverage is much more than just showing up with a camera and good intentions. Effectively covering a wedding without interruptions and knowing what to capture requires years of professional experience in the wedding photography industry. While expertise in other areas of photography and videography aids in a better outcome, wedding photography and videography differs dramatically from the other types. It requires much more skill and knowledge in all aspects of photography, including lighting, posing and people skills. Your wedding is much too important to trust to anyone other than a professional studio.

That’s up to you, however we always recommend a combination of photo-journalistic, fun, and traditional with some romantic shots and artistic detail coverage. We try to do as much candid and photo-journalistic work as possible to objectively tell your story. If you have any special requests, just let us know!

Your team will be able to scope out the best places with the best lighting. Chances are, they've been to your venue a number of times. We will plan ahead to craft a timeline that will allow us to get the most stunning shots you’ve always dreamed of. Our goal is always to cover your day as much as possible without keeping you away from your wedding guests too long.

The number of images and depends on the number of photographers hired for your day, your timeline and the size of your wedding and overall party. We set no limit to the amount of photographs we take and will always do our best to accommodate all of your requests.

Because we don't need to be. We've been in the business for over 35 years and have yet to cut a check to any other vendor. We know that engaged couples want an honest recommendation and if Dean Michaels Studio was recommended to you, you can bet we didn't pay for it!
