Dani and Ale were incredible people to work with from start to finish. From our first conversation with them, we could tell that they really care about people and their stories. They really took the time to get to know us and were professional and enthusiastic throughout the many months that we collaborated with them over the phone and through webcaming. They were always responsive in communicating with us and they really listened to our vision. They also provided great feedback and ideas. On the day of, they came early to set up and were one of the the last ones to leave. They did a phenomenal job mic-ing everyone and making sure they covered all the technical details so that we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. We are so glad they were the ones to capture one of the most important days of our lives. We had a fantastic experience with Second Song and our DJ Jeff Collins for our September 14th wedding. Everyone on the Second Song team (and Rob in particular) was very responsive and communicative. The virtual meeting with DJ Jeff went smoothly, and the shared Google Doc that Second Song provided to track the event details was intuitive and easy to use. Rob and his team helped us make custom cuts of our ceremony music at no additional cost. We also booked our uplights through their team, and they were beautiful. Not only could you select the color, but the lights could also be programmed to cycle through colors for more of a party vibe. I could not recommend DJ Jeff Collins more highly. He was professional and on time, and most importantly, had incredible energy. He hit all of our requests for the evening, both for the dinner portion of the night and the dance party afterwards. He worked seamlessly with our planner and made all of the right announcements at the right time, and a large part of the evening's success was due to his energy and enthusiasm. Seth has many wonderful qualities and was the perfect DJ for our wedding, as well as your future perfect DJ for your event! I could write a dissertation on everything I liked about Seth, but for the sake of brevity, I'll stick to certain qualities that really stood out for me. Seth was very time efficient when we were planning for the wedding. There's a million things to do when leading up to a wedding, that I really appreciated how efficient Seth communicated, listened to our requests, and executed our vision on our big day. On the day of the wedding, Seth was fully prepared in attire and professionalism. He wore a big smile throughout the whole day, and had a energy level that matched the energy of our wedding. Seth also showed great flexibility throughout the day. As with all wedding, the schedule that is planned for the day of often has delayed due to various reasons. Seth was masterfully able to keep the energy level that we were looking for with no awkward pauses throughout the day due to other scheduling issues that occurred. Overall, we were super pleased with Seth. If we need a DJ for any future event, we would definitely use Seth again. If you hire Seth, prepare for a great DJ!

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Randall was recommended by our videographer (Call it Captivation Films, who we recommend). We really enjoyed his gallery and how natural his photos looked. We spoke to a few other photographers before him, but during our 1st video meeting he vibed well with us; he and I are both Fil-Am with history of working with pediatric patients (he as a PTA, me as a RN), and he and my husband shared a love for the same teams (Dodgers and Lakers). We were quick to book him after our meeting and are extremely happy with our decision to work with him! The photography packages he offers and his prices are amazing. Randall was great with communication and with providing us with recommendations (ie what to bring for flat lay, helping us pose, etc) prior to and day of the wedding. He did a site tour of our venue where we got to meet him and his kids in person. Prior to the ceremony, Randall worked with me, while the 2nd photographer worked with my husband. My husband said that the 2nd photographer fitted in well like one of the boys. He gave us a preview of the photos 1 week after our wedding and the full gallery of our wedding about 8-9 weeks after our wedding. We are so happy with all the photos! They are so beautiful and timeless, and they captured the essence of our wedding so well. **If you're looking for a photographer, Randall is your guy! I did the research for you :) Book him now! **

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. Gabriella was easy to communicate and work with - I showed her the cake that I wanted and she was able to execute my vision perfectly. DJ Trey is THE BEST DJ!!! I wish we had even more time on the dance floor to keep letting him mix because he’s a genuinely fantastic DJ! Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. He was great to work with for our wedding and we can’t wait to throw another party just so we have an excuse to use DJ Trey again!

I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Carissa and her team at Positively Charming Weddings. She was the very first vendor I hired for my wedding, a year and a half in advance. Within the first 2 minutes of chatting with Carissa the first time, I knew we were the perfect match. She is incredibly organized, compassionate, an amazing listener, and isn’t afraid to take the lead and make decisions when necessary. She is thoughtful, calm, has a wealth of wedding industry knowledge and was able to provide personalized suggestions based on my preferences at every turn. To be honest, I was originally super nervous and anxious to hire a wedding planner, as I am a very type A person because of my job as a programs and event planner. But Carissa exceeded all expectations and truly was able to allow me to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without a worry in the world. She was a problem solver every step of the way. For example, she offered to manually fixed my seating chart the day before the wedding and found a print shop willingly to print very specific last minute signage (both things that were my fault that they were delayed/wrong). She kept not only me, but my husband and both families on track leading up to the wedding, provided monthly checklists, was available via phone and email for my questions, and even provided bridal party itineraries the weekend of. Her and her team were incredibly easy to work with, and our other vendors and bridal party members said the exact same thing. I had a backyard wedding on 9/23/23 and let me say that having a backyard wedding for 150 people is not for the faint of heart! But from the moment we hired Dream Co. things got easier. Carrie was so helpful and responsive every step of the way and it was a HUGE relief when she started coordinating and communicating with vendors directly (which was my least favorite part). On the wedding day, several things didn't go according to plan (which always happens) and Carrie and her assistant Deanna handled it seamlessly. I heard from so many people that it was the best wedding they had ever attended and I owe so much of that to Carrie and Deanna. We also had the pleasure of working with Natasha for decoration and her eye for detail was beyond words. She took piles of supplies and decor and turned the backyard into a 5-star venue. The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

When I say that Dylan and the Moon Units MADE our wedding, I am not exaggerating. They not only delivered, the exceeded our already high expectations in every way possible. Music was extremely important for my husband and me, and we knew immediately that we wanted a live band to elevate the evening. We found Dylan and the Moon Units' information online, and after finding that they were very within our budget we reached out and Dylan invited us to one of their gigs in Hollywood. We loved their vibe and booked them. We asked Dylan to play both our ceremony and our reception, as well as play preset playlists for our pre-ceremony and cocktail hour. Now, I must admit, because music was so important for my husband and my special day, we had *very* specific ideas for what we wanted. Dylan was extremely communicative, answering all of my extremely needy and detailed emails in a timely manner and doing everything he could to reassure me that we were in good hands. We made selections from the list of songs they knew, and also asked them to learn about 10 new songs for us, ranging from unique arrangements of existing songs to deep cuts from 90's movies. Dylan's communication was warm, expeditious, and professional, and I felt really well taken care of. At our wedding, though, is where they exceeded our expectations. The live music they played was amazing, and set the tone for our wedding in the exact way we were hoping for. At the reception, they kept the energy up with a perfectly curated playlist of our requests (and we had quite a lot!) songs they knew would keep the party going. Their song choices appealed to the older crowd as well as the Millennial crowd. Dylan even help me set up a surprise performance for my husband, where I sang one of this favorite songs ("Go Cubs Go") with the backing of the Moon Units band. It was an incredibly special moment. And creating special moments was what Dylan and the Moon Units did best. Somehow, they managed to keep the dance floor packed the entire evening. Months after our wedding, our guests have continuously called out Dylan and the Moon Units as an absolute highlight of our wedding, saying that it was musically one of the best weddings they have ever been to. All-in-all, I cannot recommend Dylan and the Moon Units enough. As someone who was VERY specific about the music at my wedding, they exceeded all of our expectations. Book them for your wedding ASAP - you will not be disappointed.

To say that I love and trust Stephen's work is an understatement. I live in New York City with some of the most talented photographers in the world available for hire, and my first choice wedding photographer was to fly Stephen Tang to NYC from Los Angeles. I wouldn’t trust or want anyone else for the job of capturing our wedding. We have worked with Stephen before, and I just love his style of work. I also fell in love with his studio work after seeing another couple's engagement photos and wanted similar pictures for our own. Stephen knocked it out of the park. Stephen exceeded our expectations with the wedding photos. We have everything we requested and much more than we realized we needed. It was so fun to relive our wedding through the pictures. The only potential downside of my wedding pictures was I realized that I forgot to take a picture with my grandfather. I felt pretty terrible about it. I received my pictures from Stephen and cried because there was a beautiful candid of my grandfather and I. It was so much better than a posed photo. It captured the essence of who we are. You get what you pay for with weddings. Your pictures are your memories. They live on for generations. It was important to us to have the best photographs, and we knew we could trust Stehen to capture the event beautifully. Stephen went above and beyond our expectations and worth every cent. It won't be 2,000 photos and duplicates of the same shot. He’s going to give you a beautiful, curated story of your wedding. Stephen was also very helpful with looking over my timeline and telling me what was realistic. His experience allowed me to set expectations for what I'd receive, and he did nothing if not exceed them. Wedding days are beautiful. They are intimate, but they are also stressful. I’ve been to weddings where the photographer brings an anxious energy. That’s not Stephen. He’s calm and confident. He also takes charge in a non abrasive way. On my wedding day I needed that. I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

The professionalism, raw talent, and sweet demeanor are only a few of the exquisite gifts Gabbie offers. If you are looking for a photographer who is the complete package, look no further. When selecting wedding vendors, every blog post will tell you that choosing your photographer is one of the most important (if not the most important). However, little information is provided after that tidbit, which can be daunting for an excited (albeit overwhelmed) bride who wants every detail of their wedding to be perfect. Sean, my now husband, and I had selected our venue, The 1909 in Topanga Canyon, CA., and our coordinator, Allison, with West Events LA, provided us with a list of her preferred vendors -- insert us coming across Gabbie. I remember going to her website, scrolling through her work, and being enamored with how each photo captured a different emotion and feeling. We both immediately knew that from looking at her work alone, we wanted our photos to look and feel the same. After sending an inquiry and coordinating a call, Gabbie & I spoke on the phone for close to an hour about what we had in mind for our wedding, and I remember it all clicking when Gabbie described her work as "documentary" style. Sean and I knew we didn't want a videographer for our wedding, so Gabbie's techniques and overall vision aligned perfectly with what Sean and I wanted. We also opted to do a round of engagement photos with Gabbie 5 months before our wedding, where she came into our home to take photos of us in our most comfortable and natural state (chasing our dogs around the yard) and then for a shoot at a local winery that we love to go to. Not only did we have such a fun and great experience, but we also felt so comfortable and relaxed with Gabbie. We almost forgot we were there to have our photos taken! We received the gallery back shortly after and were so thrilled. Fast-forward to our wedding, we had hired Gabbie a second shooter for 8 hours. They met us at the venue for the final getting-ready details around 1 pm and stayed through to a good portion of the dance floor, around 9 pm. They arrived promptly and were even extra helpful with Sean when getting his suit on! While those details may seem minor to some, it was that unique care and attention from both Gabbie and her second shooter that made Sean & I, and all of our guests, feel so beautiful and confident to be themselves. When Sean and I got our gallery back, we spent a solid three hours scrolling through every captured moment, laughing, crying, and squealing with excitement. I am not exaggerating when I say that seeing the captured images and how Gabbie so beautifully arranged them in the album was purely magic. Any time we go through the album, we genuinely feel transported back to that day, and there is no doubt in my mind it is because of Gabbie's pure mastery of her craft. As part of her thorough questionnaire, one of the questions was what percentage of digital-to-film prints we would like, and for ours, we chose 50:50. I'm so glad we opted for film, and I almost wish we had had more because these photos are indeed what dreams are made of. The icing on the cake, Gabbie also wrote us an adorable card after the wedding, which included 3 of the film prints. Sean & I will forever be grateful to Gabbie for her work and friendship. We love you!!

We anticipated a beautiful warm sunny day but the weather had other plans for us and we were met with gusting winds and rain! When an unexpected situation required a substitute photographer, Justina quickly found a great alternate photographer, shared every details for a smooth transition, and still completed all processing and editing. Sam was Amazing! She was very kind patient and knowledgeable. I hired her as day of event coordinator and event designer for my wedding in May. She did such an amazing job preparing the venue and ceremony. She was very easy to work with and quick to respond to all forms of communications leading up the wedding. I have worked in event planning for a few years now. For weddings in particular, I have always worked on the vendor management side of things. When my vendors constantly asked why I wasn't a coordinator myself, I realized that I hadn't even considered it.

My husband and I are both savvy creatives by nature. There is never a sale that we do not catch or an item that we cannot DIY. But when it came to our wedding, we knew that we would need some help on the day of. Bee is quite possibly the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. From day one, she was attentive and incredibly organized. She really helped us narrow down our vision and execute it. Bee filled in the gaps; she was excited when my family was not. She was also a kind listening ear, even when she didn't have to be. The day went off without a hitch and although weddings are stressful, Bee actions and coordination allowed us to be able to enjoy our day. She is kind, LGBT safe, and an absolute star. You'd be remiss to not hire her! Bee may have been hired as our coordinator, but she is now and forever apart of our community. Love you down, Bee.
