We had a fantastic experience with Second Song and our DJ Jeff Collins for our September 14th wedding. Everyone on the Second Song team (and Rob in particular) was very responsive and communicative. The virtual meeting with DJ Jeff went smoothly, and the shared Google Doc that Second Song provided to track the event details was intuitive and easy to use. Rob and his team helped us make custom cuts of our ceremony music at no additional cost. We also booked our uplights through their team, and they were beautiful. Not only could you select the color, but the lights could also be programmed to cycle through colors for more of a party vibe. I could not recommend DJ Jeff Collins more highly. He was professional and on time, and most importantly, had incredible energy. He hit all of our requests for the evening, both for the dinner portion of the night and the dance party afterwards. He worked seamlessly with our planner and made all of the right announcements at the right time, and a large part of the evening's success was due to his energy and enthusiasm. Thank you Second Song for helping us make our wedding dreams come true! If you are on the market for a wedding DJ (or a DJ for any large event), look no further!

From our first meeting with him, we knew he was our guy. He was organized, thorough, and honestly just hands down the best. We had a lot going on, and he was great at getting us scheduled for meetings and keeping us on track (we definitely were not on track otherwise with that haha). The app he uses gave my husband and I the ability to put in as much (or little) effort as we wanted in regards to our playlists, and he just made it amazing. Anyone you ask from our wedding, had a blast. The photos and videos that I have from after dinner and whatnot, the dance floor is packed and there’s not a person in their seat. I’ve repeatedly had people ask for our playlist for their events now as well. Everything ran smoothly day of thanks to his MC’ing and directing a smooth transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. We can’t be more thankful to have found him, and that we were able to book him! Also, photo booth, HUGEEE plus. He customized our photos to match our design and it was awesome. I do have to say that we didn’t get as many people in it as I would have expected, but that’s because everyone was having too much fun dancing that they didn’t realize it was there. There’s no better feeling than hearing everyone saying how much fun they had at your wedding, and how they’ve never had such a great time dancing at a wedding. We cannot recommend Seth enough!!

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. In addition to being extremely professional, prepared, and organized, he is such a down-to-earth and kind, genuine person. He even captured some videos of our first dance and grand entrance that we wouldn't have had otherwise because we didn't have a videographer. This was so thoughtful and truly above and beyond! We personally added on the photo booth option and are glad we did, as it was a hit. His rates were very reasonable as well especially for the package we got. Everyone raved about James and the music. I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!

Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.

I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Carissa and her team at Positively Charming Weddings. She was the very first vendor I hired for my wedding, a year and a half in advance. Within the first 2 minutes of chatting with Carissa the first time, I knew we were the perfect match. She is incredibly organized, compassionate, an amazing listener, and isn’t afraid to take the lead and make decisions when necessary. She is thoughtful, calm, has a wealth of wedding industry knowledge and was able to provide personalized suggestions based on my preferences at every turn. To be honest, I was originally super nervous and anxious to hire a wedding planner, as I am a very type A person because of my job as a programs and event planner. But Carissa exceeded all expectations and truly was able to allow me to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without a worry in the world. She was a problem solver every step of the way. For example, she offered to manually fixed my seating chart the day before the wedding and found a print shop willingly to print very specific last minute signage (both things that were my fault that they were delayed/wrong). She kept not only me, but my husband and both families on track leading up to the wedding, provided monthly checklists, was available via phone and email for my questions, and even provided bridal party itineraries the weekend of. Her and her team were incredibly easy to work with, and our other vendors and bridal party members said the exact same thing. She can work with anyone, with any personality type, and makes you feel important and heard. If you want someone to go above and beyond for you, look no further! Aladdin films will make a lasting impression on you. They were referred to me by my mother's friend, and the way she described their approach to the shooting and customer service was just wow. My experience was no different, even better I would say. The first thing we noticed was that both photographer and videographer arrived earlier, so they would get enough footage for getting ready photos. The photographer was very professional, he would always point out if we posed in the wrong way, and there was no awkwardness when he took pictures of us. He would always lead us to where the best location to shoot, and which pose is the best. If I had ideas for a picture I would like to have, he would understand me and take the exact picture I wanted! The Videographer was very creative, he used wireless microphones to capture our voices when we were reading our letters to each other prior to the ceremony, and our wows during the ceremony. In the final video, we could hear our voices so clearly, as if we were recorded in a studio. Both of them decided to capture our wedding day as it was, we weren't bothered with extra posing that we did not need, and everything went flawlessly. And the end result was … I can’t express it other than IDEAL. We watched the video with our best man and maid of honor, we were all speechless! Aladdin Films filmed and edited our video in a way that I felt the whole spectrum of emotions that I felt that day. It’s unbelievable. The only advice I want to give to couples that are thinking of ordering their service is to reach out to them ASAP since your date may not be available anymore. We recommended them to my sister and 4 other friends and siblings that will marry this year and the next year. We’re looking forward to meeting you at my sister’s wedding!

We are incredibly grateful Xenia was our engagement/wedding photographer and couldn't be happier with the results! I don’t think I will ever find the right words for Carmen, but if you are reading this because you are still in limbo whether you want to book her for your next big event, STOP whatever it is you are doing and book her right NOW (before its too late and you regret it foreva). It took awhile for me to realize that these are not just photos you look at once in your life,but photos that you will forever be looking back to- the photos you will show your grand babies and so forth. Carmen’s attention to detail from the start is on a different level. She really takes the time to get to know each of her clients to help create each of story through her work. My husband and I are very awkward and we are the worst at posing in front of a camera- but Carmen was a natural at making us comfortable and just have fun/ being ourselves, and being in the moment. She really made us look like we were the best that we couldn’t stop posting our photos. I can go on and on about how amazing her work is- but find out for yourself and experience the magic. Carmen and her team are the BEST! In all honestly, The wedding album was the second best thing we got out of our experience with her. The friendship we were able to build is first! The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

We absolutely loved our DJ! Misha was amazing and really delivered. He kept everyone on the dance floor, which was our one request. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the communication from the office staff before the event was terrible. Poor Misha—we had to text him with questions, but he wasn’t allowed to answer directly and everything had to go through Ruby at the office, which was frustrating. We even had a Zoom meeting to review our music plan, but a week later Ruby messaged me saying it wasn’t completed. What was the point of the Zoom call if not to review it? It felt disorganized. However, on the day of the wedding, Misha executed everything perfectly. Despite the office communication issues, I would still recommend them!

BOOK. THE. VIDEO SERVICE. When we were wedding planning, multiple people told us that videography wasn't a necessity; I can now confidently say it absolutely is!
