We’ve used food first events & catering three times now. The level of detail, service, and food is outstanding from begging to the end. These guys are pros. We even trusted them with our wedding. I wouldn’t do it any other way. They go above and beyond with helping with all the details of events to ensure the customer has an excellent time. Innovative ways of accommodating us and coming up with great ideas where all of our guests were amazed. The food is top notch quality. They accommodated diverse requests. For example, surf and turf, to vegan, and our last event, which was Thai. All were outstanding, think Michelin star quality. They are very kind and take all of our needs in to consideration. They have great ideas on how to make an incredible event thats creates life long memories. These guys are the best! They even did my sisters wedding.

Choosing second song as our DJ service for our wedding was the best decision we could have made!! The team is so accommodating and made the process of choosing our DJ so easy. After choosing second song, they allowed us to set up phone calls to interview DJ's to find the perfect fit for us. We ended up choosing DJ Daniel Cabral. Daniel was attentive and set up multiple meetings with us prior to our wedding to discuss our vision for our wedding day. Everything ran perfectly throughout the entire day. The audio for our ceremony was perfect and the music selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception set the mood for our wedding. We also hired a string trio through second song and they did a beautiful job at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our reception was a party and Daniel made sure people were on the dance floor all night long. We also had my cousin play the trumpet at our reception while Daniel played a song in the background. Daniel mic'd up his trumpet for us and it was such a hit! We also got our Photo Booth through second song and they provided the uplighting at the venue! They are everything you could want from a DJ service and more!! If you are looking for a DJ service, second song is the way to go!!!!

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. In addition to being extremely professional, prepared, and organized, he is such a down-to-earth and kind, genuine person. He even captured some videos of our first dance and grand entrance that we wouldn't have had otherwise because we didn't have a videographer. This was so thoughtful and truly above and beyond! Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about Carissa and her team at Positively Charming Weddings. She was the very first vendor I hired for my wedding, a year and a half in advance. Within the first 2 minutes of chatting with Carissa the first time, I knew we were the perfect match. She is incredibly organized, compassionate, an amazing listener, and isn’t afraid to take the lead and make decisions when necessary. She is thoughtful, calm, has a wealth of wedding industry knowledge and was able to provide personalized suggestions based on my preferences at every turn. To be honest, I was originally super nervous and anxious to hire a wedding planner, as I am a very type A person because of my job as a programs and event planner. But Carissa exceeded all expectations and truly was able to allow me to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without a worry in the world. She was a problem solver every step of the way. For example, she offered to manually fixed my seating chart the day before the wedding and found a print shop willingly to print very specific last minute signage (both things that were my fault that they were delayed/wrong). She kept not only me, but my husband and both families on track leading up to the wedding, provided monthly checklists, was available via phone and email for my questions, and even provided bridal party itineraries the weekend of. Her and her team were incredibly easy to work with, and our other vendors and bridal party members said the exact same thing. The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

Mysi, Mysi, Mysi. Where do we even begin. We were passed along Soda Pop as a preferred photography vendor and fell in love with Mysi's work almost instantly. We were thrilled when Mysi did have availability and we then met to just talk. Mysi is a professional and is very good at what she does. However, our favorite thing is that she's also very approachable. We immediately felt a friendship brewing and it made it very easy for us to open up about what we wanted, what we were afraid of, etc. Both my wife and I historically are not great at pictures and after calming us down a bit, she reassured us that she was going to make sure the photos we'll have were going to be amazing, and that we would look good to. We decided to book Mysi for a few hours before the actual reception to get some shots across the city and then during the reception as well. We also then later asked her to come with us on the day we got married to take more photos with our families and our little dog as well. Both times she was punctual, had everything under control, and used her keen eye to take some memorable shots of us, our families, and countless friends and guests. P.S. she's a dog person and our dog took to her immediately as well, which helped provide some jaw-droppers of the little guy. Like, model-status. But I digress. We were both definitely nervous but when we did get our photos back, we were beyond happy. Mysi and her colleague captured so many amazing memories of all of our families and friends, our grand-parents, little toddlers, just everyone. All of the work she did with us produced some amazing pictures of us as well which we'll have for a lifetime. When looking for a photographer, please do reach out to Mysi at least for a chat, because while we found the perfect photographer for us, we also found a new friend!

We had the privilege of having Stephen photograph our entire wedding day! We could not be more happier with how the entire day was documented. Photography was one of the top vendors we prioritized our budget for. Each photo came out so great and I'm having a great time sharing them with family and friends. Stephen has wonderful communication, organization, and photography talents! - Planning: I found Stephen from Instagram and it so happened that he had worked with both our coordinator and venue previously. What attracted me first from his profile was his lighting/editing style - not too much overly exposed or brighten or romanticized photos. We not only preferred a more realistic color in our photos, but knew that our venue may not accommodate that bright style due to it being mainly indoors. Stephen took the initiative to set up a first meeting as well. We appreciated this as I know it's important for photographers and their clients to have good chemistry. We appreciated how straight forward Stephen was and how much his passion for capturing raw moments showed. It was clear that he shows that he likes to have fun while taking photographs and trying all kinds of ways of shooting, which was definitely demonstrated on the day of. Stephen was very organized and punctual from contracts to scheduling to communication. - Day of: Stephen was great during the wedding day! He was organized and made his own schedule with our coordinator's to be sure to get all requested and desired shots in during the day. He came so prepared with so many different poses in mind that there was never a moments where us and the wedding party never felt awkward or anything! Taking photos was fun and a very smooth and memorable process. I had the most fun taking pictures with my girls. I loved all the photos of the family, guests, and dancing as well. Stephen even took some time out during dancing to get some cool couple shots at night. I appreciated the film shots as well. Stephen took authority throughout the day and was so kind and accommodating. - Post-wedding: Stephen edits so quickly!! We got sneak peaks within a couple days. I wasn't sure how long all the photos would take and a few friends were saying theirs took 2-3 months! However, Stephen got an entire day's worth of photos to us in one month!!! He got the guest and family shots down, couple and bridal party shots captured, and perfect couple shots as well. I love all the lighting and color editing. He captured great candid moments as well. We have been staring at them ever since receiving them! Thank you so much Stephen for providing these photos for us! They are something we will remember our special day by! It was great working with you!

I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

The most frequent compliment we receive about our wedding is how great the music was and that is 100% thanks to Dart Collective. Their strings for the ceremony were PERFECT and set such a great tone for the start of our day. Special shout out to the crew for learning What's New Puy Cat so I could live every bride's dream of walking down the aisle to Tom Jones :). But the real show stealer were The Shrines who absolutely KILLED IT during our reception! And also learned some bangers at our request. I truly did not sit down once because their song list was so incredible! I cannot overstate how spectacular they made our wedding and how I would hire them again in an instant. Do yourself and your wedding guests a favor and book them! Also, if you can swing it definitely go for the three horn players!

BOOK. THE. VIDEO SERVICE. When we were wedding planning, multiple people told us that videography wasn't a necessity; I can now confidently say it absolutely is! Ilya captured so many beautiful moments that just couldn't be contained to a photo. His editing is incredible and gives off a rich, 'fragrance ad' like feel. As a mom, and full time student, who was buying a house, and planning a wedding, she brought ease to the wedding planning process. She had her own baby during this time as well! My reception space turned out beautiful thanks to her, her assistant and my mother-in-law's (and some family) diligent help/work. I have worked in event planning for a few years now. For weddings in particular, I have always worked on the vendor management side of things. When my vendors constantly asked why I wasn't a coordinator myself, I realized that I hadn't even considered it.

To say that B is a miracle worker and a blessing is an understatement. A little background: Like many brides, I thought I could do this all on my own. However, 3 months until our wedding, I finally came to understand that I need help, and I am so lucky to have found B (or more like so lucky she never gave up in reaching out to me). My one regret is that I did not go to her sooner. If you want a wedding planner who is hard working, zero-nonsense, extremely organized, and will make you feel like their #1, B is for you. I told her when getting started that I need someone who will hand my hand as if I am a 12 yo during this whole process, and she did it. She relieved so much of my stress, was an amazing soundboard during this whole process, was my #1 advocate. She knew when to give me the "I gotchu" to the "I am going to be real with you..." I did not think I would be able to enjoy my wedding as the bride, but B made it a priority that my husband and I, as well as our entire family and all of our guests, enjoy this special day. I am so happy to say, that she did it. Everyone, including myself, had an amazing, smooth wedding day, and it was all thanks to her. I cannot vouch for B enough. Yes, she really is the best thing ever. Yes, she is really that affordable (despite all of us telling her she is under-charging). And yes, I still wish I could hire her as my life coach. Ladies (and gents): If you are looking for a wedding planner, I cannot emphasize my absolute adoration and love for this woman. She pulled off miracle in my eyes.
