We loved working with Stephen! He was professional and accommodating throughout the whole process of working with him. One of the most special things that Stephen has a talent for is taking candid photos and telling the story of the day through his photos. On our day-of, if anything went wrong, I knew nothing of it, everything went great and we received nothing but positive feedback from our bridal party. He ran his ideas for the overall plan for the day by not only us, but the clients and other vendors to make sure all of our expectations were met. The ceremony took place in a church and Joey was very respectful of the rules in place. The wedding day was unseasonably hot, even for July in the South, but Joey kept a smile on his face and a good attitude throughout the entire day.

I have worked at the Maxwell House a couple of times, specifically with Reid. He is always professional and clear about the house rules, fees and what exactly is included for an event or wedding. He will bend over backwards for you to try to fullfill your requests. On actual event days, there is an onsite venue coordinator overseeing the venue and is periodcically checking in with the event coordinator. In the times I have worked there, it's been pleasant and organized. There is a very detailed checklist leading up to your event to be sure all is covered and addressed. Highly recommended venue.

Castle Green is one of my favorite venues in Southern California where I work as a wedding photographer. The castle is charming and elegant but also a little spooky and moody. I've had the honor of capturing a number of weddings there of the years and working with Tatiana and her team is always an unmatched experience. The variety of spaces and options are just right, nothing here is overwhelming or stuffy. I've watched so many guests marvel at the distinct Moorish architecture and enjoy the patio and gardens any time of year. Creating art here with couples is always a special experience. Can't say enough good things about Castle Green!

We're a Scottish duo living our best lives in Los Angeles! We appreciate unpopular TV shows, all the vegan food, and a good old road trip. But our most favorite thing is our two fur-kids (bunnies!). We are not typical wedding photographers, that is for certain. We go against the usual grain, and that's exactly how we like it to roll. Normal is boring. Well, for us, at least. Not just for the 'wild at heart' and 'free-spirited'. For e v e r y o n e. And we mean it. We don't discriminate. Ever.

We're actually rating The Hendrys one trillion stars out of five because they are "out of this world" amazing photographers and you should stop reading this review and book them ASAP! If you're still reading though, let us break down our perfect experience with them: They were recommended to us by our venue (Valentine DTLA) and we fell in LOVE with them as soon as we saw their website! Their portfolio and "about me" won us over because we were looking for wedding photographers who could capture the in-between moments, do some fun stylized shots, and be just as fun and goofy as we are! We reached out over the website and heard back from them immediately over email. Their super funny, yet professional personality came through and that got us so excited to work with them! They were also open to us asking as many questions as we wanted (especially when it came to the contract), which made us feel even more comfortable! We then got to meet them over ZOOM where we broke down how the day would go, they asked us what kind of pictures we were looking for, and we just got to know each other. We honestly may have become best friends with them as we couldn't stop talking to them about everything and anything for 2 hours. After that, we knew we were gonna be in the best hands, but we could never have ever imagined how perfect they really would be! When it finally came to the wedding day, The Hendrys went above and beyond! They were extremely professional as they kept us on schedule while experimenting with different types of photos (using a Fish Eye Lens, prisms, neon lights, etc.). They knew how to make everything feel super relaxed and fun and just let us do whatever was natural to us no matter what kind of photo it was. While we were losing it over the fact we just got married, The Hendrys just let us take everything in while politely directing us for photos. When we weren't doing staged photos, they were out of sight, but taking stunning photographs of everything that was happening in between. They were like ninjas as they would disappear and then reappear and grab us for the next shoot! It really was so cool! A few weeks after the wedding, we received our photos in record time and they were the COOLEST PHOTOS EVER (which you can see attached to this review)! We cannot thank The Hendrys enough for their hilarious stories, non-stop professionalism, unwavering kindness & selflessness, and being true magicians with their cameras and artistic vision. We couldn't be more grateful for everything that they did and we feel like the luckiest married couple in the world thanks to them! Charmain at Emblem Flowers is such an amazing floral designer and so wonderful to work with! I reached out to Emblem Flowers to create floral arrangements for my wedding reception tables and head table. I already admired Charmain’s gorgeous floral designs on her instagram/website and the way she designs flowers together. I loved how aesthetically beautiful, timeless, unique, modern, natural and artistic her arrangements look. And, I knew I wanted her floral arrangements to be a part of my wedding day & was so happy to get to book with Emblem Flowers. It was so great and helpful to work with Charmain. She has such a wealth of knowledge in flowers and design aesthetics. She provided great designer insights and advice on the floral direction in light of the colors, table layouts, budget, and helped me to figure out the overall look I wanted for the flowers. And, her genuine care for the floral aesthetics and for what I wanted was so reassuring. I felt even more confident, after talking with her, that her floral arrangements would be so beautiful at the reception. And, on the day of my wedding, I was truly blown away to see how breathtakingly beautiful the reception flower arrangements turned out. Charmain exceeded my expectations and her flowers made such a huge impact on the atmosphere of the reception. They brought so much beauty, life, abundance and that romantic charm I wanted for the reception. I could not have been more happy and thankful to have Charmain design the florals for my head table and the reception tables! My only post-wedding regret is not having invested more to have Emblem Flowers also design my wedding bouquet and all the other wedding florals as well. I had a venue package that already included some florals. And, in light of saving money, I went with the venue package florist for my bouquet and some other florals. In hindsight, if I could go back in time, I wished I invested more to have Charmain do all the floral pieces for my wedding. Charmain has such an incredible eye for beauty that is rare to find, and the ways she designs florals is such a work-of-art! I loved having her stunning floral arrangements at my wedding reception. They really made such a huge difference at the wedding reception atmosphere and brought so much beauty and life to the reception. I could not have been more happy with how her florals turned out. I so recommend investing in having amazing and gorgeous work-of-art floral arrangements by Charmain on your wedding day! Her stunning florals are so worth it! I will be admiring her florals in the wedding photos for years to come.

Choosing second song as our DJ service for our wedding was the best decision we could have made!! The team is so accommodating and made the process of choosing our DJ so easy. After choosing second song, they allowed us to set up phone calls to interview DJ's to find the perfect fit for us. We ended up choosing DJ Daniel Cabral. Daniel was attentive and set up multiple meetings with us prior to our wedding to discuss our vision for our wedding day. Everything ran perfectly throughout the entire day. The audio for our ceremony was perfect and the music selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception set the mood for our wedding. We also hired a string trio through second song and they did a beautiful job at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our reception was a party and Daniel made sure people were on the dance floor all night long. We also had my cousin play the trumpet at our reception while Daniel played a song in the background. Daniel mic'd up his trumpet for us and it was such a hit! We also got our Photo Booth through second song and they provided the uplighting at the venue! They are everything you could want from a DJ service and more!! If you are looking for a DJ service, second song is the way to go!!!!

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

We’ve been lucky to know and work with Randall for a few years. When we finally decided to make things “official” we knew we wanted someone that does great work, that we trust, and would make us feel comfortable. We wanted our day to feel like a relaxed family event and Randall helped with that and so much more. He suggested possible locations that would meet our dream event and times to maximize the best lighting for the area. Once we settled on the location and date, he maintained excellent communication in preparation to the event to properly flesh out the day’s timetable, day of logistics, and post. On the day of our wedding he expertly directed us and our families, using the natural lighting to capture the perfect shots. We would have been lost without him, especially since no one knew how to assist with bustling my dress. During our dinner reception he seamlessly directed restaurant staff to assist in transitioning between meals/dessert/toast for more amazing shots. After the wedding he kept us updated on next steps for our pictures. Randall is truly a gem and I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone special to capture their day.
