We got married this past June and our day went perfectly, so smooth, no hiccups and this is all because of Bre. Anytime I recommend Bre to a future bride, one thing I always say is that when you consider how much money is going into a wedding - you should also make an investment in making sure your day runs smoothly. Bre met with me a year prior to my wedding, helped create a spreadsheet to keep track of all vendors, gave amazing recommendations on vendors, did a walk through of the venue with me, created timelines, helped with o ur rehearsal & so much more. All of that was done BEFORE the wedding day was even here. Bre goes above and beyond to coordinate all your vendors and puts so much effort in making sure your vision comes to life. The day of my wedding I, nor anyone in the bridal party was bothered with vendor questions which really allowed everyone to just be able to relax. When arriving to our venue Bre had helped set up the decor and everything was stunning. Because I live close by her she even came and picked up my welcome sign prior to the wedding day along with the marriage certificate so I truly had nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. Bre helped everyone stay on track with timing, helped everyone throughout the ceremony know where to stand, when to start walking, etc - which is so helpful when you’re trying to get a bunch of people in a bridal party to listen. Once the wedding was over Bre packed up all of our decor making sure everything was extremely organized and she even took home my flower bouquet since I was having it preserved and helped coordinate that to ensure the bouquet would be safe at the end of the night. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator - just do it. You truly will not regret hiring Bre, she was the best vendor/decisions I could have made for our wedding!”

“I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. “Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget.   Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. “Emily was amazing! We worked with her for planning, starting from about 15 months before the wedding date, as well as day-of coordinating, and she was an incredible help time after time. Whenever we were stuck trying to figure out vendors or even basic things like the color scheme, Emily was able to help us make progress and stayed really kind and patient throughout, even with what were probably fairly dumb questions at least some of the time. (After all, I don't think either of us ever planned a party for more than a dozen people at a time, so it was invaluable to have help from someone so experienced as Emily!) Emily was great at keeping track of timelines and helped focus us on which decisions needed to be made sooner and what we could leave for later. When we decided to add a tea ceremony as part of the wedding, Emily didn't bat an eye and was so helpful with getting those extra details sorted. “It's hard to find the words to sufficiently capture how vital Olivia was to our wedding. While we had hired most of our vendors before deciding to hire Olivia as a day of coordinator about 3 months before our wedding, we had only the vaguest of a sketch about how our wedding day would work. Olivia immediately worked with us and developed a detailed draft of the schedule. She then proceeded to hold several planning meetings with us, and our vendors as well as an on-site visit at our venue with us about a month and a half before our wedding. We built in several custom parts of our wedding including some Hindu customs that required reworking and updating our timeline several times. Olivia handled all of this with incredible grace. During our rehearsal Olivia cleared things up for our wedding party and made sure that we were all on the same page. Despite many of our party members showing up late, she still got the important points through to everyone and made sure that there was no confusion the day of. For our wedding Olivia was on the scene working early to coordinate setup at two different venues, and was also running things over from our hotel, while maintaining contact with everyone. She made sure that we all were in place with plenty of time to spare and this enabled us to really maximize our time with the photographer and videographer. After the ceremony she made sure that folks found their way to the cocktail hour and reception. Since we had to spend most of the cocktail hour taking photos and changing we didn't really have time to enjoy our appetizers, but thankfully Olivia made sure to give us some time alone to sample them in a private room before our grand entrance. At the reception Olivia worked with our DJ to keep the event running on time, making sure the toast makers were in place and ready to go. She also managed putting out our thank you gift bags and setting aside our cards from guests. We had an amazing time dancing and eating, and were able to trust that Olivia was keeping things running as we enjoyed ourselves. I can't stress how important it was for us to hire Olivia as our coordinator. She was unflappable and made sure that we kept our focus on ourselves, and our friends and family. We managed our own rehearsal dinner and I can tell you from first-hand experience that the day of our wedding with Olivia in charge was so much less stressful and much more fun. I would highly recommend Olivia to anyone having a wedding in the Chicago area!”

“Capstone occassions made our wedding day absolute magic. I started the planning process on my own but got stuck and unmotivated because i felt overwhelmed/not entirely sure what was next. “America is such an amazing person to work with. Wanted to have a wedding of about 150 people in the Chicago Metropolitan area and a budget of 22,000 USD (just wanna say that keeping to the budget was my main goal). This can be typically difficult given the cost of venues and things in the Chicago area. America helped find a glamorous ball-style venue (my preference) that also had an outside lake as a great view for the ceremony. The venue also catered to most of the other needs at a reasonable price. Furthermore, we met regularly with America to go over what our expectations of each vendor would be, and with a great understanding of what we wanted, she was resourceful in getting the appropriate vendors and negotiating a good price with them. She made sure that within the short period of planning (we contacted her about 4 months before the wedding), every step of the plan towards the wedding day was carried out in a timely manner with nothing left unattended to...
