Hi there, I’m Olivia, the face behind Afterglow Weddings and Events! With over five years of experience in the wedding industry, including catering and venue sales, I've been part of more than 100 love stories. My journey in the Chicago wedding industry has included time as a venue coordinator, catering sales manager and event coordinator. My favorite part about working in the industry is working with couples to help their wedding dreams come to life. At Afterglow Weddings and Events, I'm dedicated to bringing your dreams to life and ensuring every detail reflects your unique love story.

Having been in the Chicago wedding industry for over 5 years I have a wide range of experience working in catering, venues and private planning. I wanted to use my expertise to help all couples bring their dream wedding to life!

    I truly cannot say enough positive things about working with Olivia, and her incredible assistant, Abby. Hiring Olivia as our wedding coordinator was by far one of the best decisions we made! From the moment I started working with Olivia in the months leading up to our big day, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and made the months leading up to the wedding feel so much more manageable and her detailed timeline gave me complete confidence going into the big day. On the wedding day, she and her assistant Abby were by my side from the moment they arrived—helping with everything from forgotten toothpaste to fluffing my dress before the aisle walk and handling every detail (big or small) seamlessly. My family and bridal party couldn’t stop talking about how amazing they were. If you’re debating whether to hire a coordinator/planner—do yourself a favor and hire Afterglow Weddings and Events!

    It was great working with Olivia and Abby for our wedding. They were the perfect coordinators to help us pull off an amazing wedding. Olivia gave us ideas we hadn't thought about in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She made sure we were marking off all our tasks and then on the day Olivia kept us on schedule and had a perfect wedding day emergency kit for any issues that may arise. We 100% recommend working with Afterglow. I was not stressed at all on our wedding day and that's thanks to Olivia and Abby.

    Liv was an absolute all star with helping us on our big day. We engaged her for day-of coordination and it’s hard to imagine how we could have navigated our wedding without her. Our experience with her was incredible from our first meeting with her a few months out from the day, all the way to post-wedding. She stayed on top of all of our vendors and the venue and was a consummate professional all the way through. Liv was incredibly organized and knowledgeable, and executed our shared plan flawlessly. We could not recommend her more to help with something as important, special, and personal as a wedding or any other event!

    I am so grateful for Olivia and all of her help on our wedding day! Olivia began working with us in the weeks leading up to the big day, and from the start, she was incredibly organized, thoughtful, and understanding. She listened to all our ideas and worked closely with us to ensure everything ran smoothly. In addition to creating a detailed timeline, Olivia was there to lend a helping hand throughout the day. Her calm, positive demeanor was such a relief on a day that can feel like it's happening all at once! One of our guests even said, 'I've never been to a wedding where everything has run so smoothly and on time.' I think that really says it all about Olivia!
