    Jojo is wonderful to work with, she listens to your input doesn’t force you to do things that will increase your budget. The day of the wedding, Jojo had full control of everything and did not worry me with vendor issues. Jojo made my wedding a successful wedding because of how smooth everything went. If something did not go has planned she will step up and find other alternatives. She is wonderful to work with and I’m glad I chose Jokay’s event. I will forever sing her praises!

    Jojo was exceptional with her ability to seamlessly coordinate our wedding of 400 guest. She ensured all details were managed and helped us find vendors and venue. She would be my 1st choice in Chicago to curate any event especially weddings.

    Jojo is such an amazing person to work with. Wanted to have a wedding of about 150 people in the Chicago Metropolitan area and a budget of 22,000 USD (just wanna say that keeping to the budget was my main goal). This can be typically difficult given the cost of venues and things in the Chicago area. Jojo helped find a glamorous ball-style venue (my preference) that also had an outside lake as a great view for the ceremony. The venue also catered to most of the other needs at a reasonable price. Furthermore, we met regularly with Jojo to go over what our expectations of each vendor would be, and with a great understanding of what we wanted, she was resourceful in getting the appropriate vendors and negotiating a good price with them. She made sure that within the short period of planning (we contacted her about 4 months before the wedding), every step of the plan towards the wedding day was carried out in a timely manner with nothing left unattended to... I mean nothing (including what was needed for the traditional wedding given we are Nigerians). On the day of the wedding, she drew up a great timeline and went above and beyond to ensure all went according to plan timely and we were not stressed out. It was such a good and memorable event that we received numerous compliments on it. With her being very affordable for the service she gives and she being intentionally involved in everything, we definitely kept to budget and had better than the wedding we had hoped for. She was on top of her game from A to Z. She isn't only an event planner to us but is also a friend. I thank God for you Jojo and for all you did. These few words cannot fully explain how excellent you are in what you do.
