“When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. “When we were looking for a day-of coordinator, I immediately thought of a friend who worked in wedding planning. It was a while since we were in touch but despite no longer working at Calmerin anymore (decided to go on a different career path), she highly recommended booking them and working with Glennie, the owner. Glennie was so communicative throughout the whole process. She explained what was included in the different package levels, which is especially helpful to understand if you’re just starting the wedding planning process. I let her know that I would only need a day-of coordinator since I was already pretty far along in the process having booked multiple vendors already on my own. Glennie and her team were AMAZING. Understood the assignment. They provided detailed instructions and spreadsheets to help better understand your vision and start compiling all the information together to make sure your big day goes smoothly. Drew was assigned to be the on-site coordinator and worked alongside Glennie. We also had a few other coordinators join us if Glennie wasn't available (she's physically based in SoCal but has a steady team based in NorCal). All were absolute sweethearts! Asked all the right questions during the venue walkthrough and made sure to follow up with you and your vendors in a timely manner. Made rehearsal a breeze when none of us knew what we were doing. Took all my DIY décor and placed them better than I could ever imagine. My family members told me after the wedding how they really enjoyed having Drew and Glennie around to help them be at the right place at the right time and how they were helpful throughout the whole day. If I ever had a question or needed anything throughout the entire process, especially during the day-of, they were there for me. They had an emergency kit ready to go (which really helped when we had a lapse of planning for our video game station where we needed a flat screen to project on). They made sure we were taken care of, fed and hydrated, and ready to go. We had SUCH a blast enjoying our day without needing to worry about the little details or our guests. At the end of the night, they made sure to have everything that we wanted back packed up and ready to go. I honestly recommend Calmerin Designs and Events if you're looking for a planner and/or coordinator!”

The quality of their work and value was unmatched, as Lisa went above and beyond. She thought everything through and even when little things went wrong, she took care of them so quickly without worrying me or anyone else. For example, Lisa made sure to call all the vendors ahead of time to confirm, and turns out one vendor had the dates mixed up, but she got that figured out on the wedding day without even telling us so we wouldn't worry. She also had extra makeup on hand which was so helpful for touch-ups throughout the day. We had the caterer for our rehearsal dinner drop out one week before the event and Michele found us a replacement within an hour; and the replacement caterer was a slam dunk. Everyone loved the food. On the day of the wedding and rehearsal dinner Michele and Dan did everything. And I mean everything. She set up tables, positioned flowers and welcome signs and seating charts. She ironed over disagreements with vendors and never once did we have to lift a finger. “We cannot recommend Jackie enough! Jackie was essential in our wedding planning and coordination. She was extremely responsive, organized and proactive. If you are planning your first (and hopefully last!) wedding, go with Jackie. She has the experience, knows what she is talking about, has a great vendor list, knows what to expect and most importantly is an excellent problem solver. I felt like we were in good hands the entire time. She guided myself and my partner though logistics for the wedding day and then on the wedding day, she was proactive, did an excellent job wrangling our guests and bridal party. When the weather didn't cooperate, she took charge and helped keep things moving smoothly for us and our guests. Jackie also had excellent vendor recommendations, many of which we ended up going well and we are so happy we did. As a gay couple, it was also really important for us to partner with someone that was excited about planning a gay wedding and Jackie was not only enthusiastic but understood our vision and contributed great ideas. Our wedding reception venue was pretty unique and Jackie didn't bat an eye, she understood our vision perfectly and embraced it. “We hired Serenity Weddings for our wedding last year, and it was the best decision we made for the day. We opted for the month-of package. We knew that we wanted to design our wedding ourselves to make it unique to our love story, but that we didn't have time the month of the wedding to add all of the last minute coordinating between the vendors to our workload. Desiree met with us mid-planning process to do a walk-through of the venue and get an idea of what we had planned for our day. She gave tons of helpful tips and truly made sure that she understood our vision. The month of the wedding she coordinated between all the vendors to make sure that everything was covered. Thank goodness! Turns out we forgot to order bathrooms since we were at a house, even though we didn't want people going into the home. She saved the day and made sure that we got an extra generator from the rental company to supply the power. On the day of the wedding she arrived ahead of the first vendor and made sure that everything was perfect. And if it wasn't, we never knew! All of our family and friends got to enjoy our wedding with us, without having to worry about how everything was going, all thanks to Serenity Weddings. I also worked with Desiree for my bridal styling, choosing the Final Touches package. Finding my dress was easy, but the endless choices for everything else was daunting. “Rose and her team were a wonderful asset to ensuring the enjoyment of our wedding! We hired Rose as a month of coordinator for our May 2024 wedding. Once we started working with her the month prior to the wedding a lot of my anxieties regarding how the day was going to go were taken away due to her depth of experience and professionalism. She really took the reins during those last weeks to follow up on final details with our vendors and getting closer to the date I had people asking me if I was stressed out and I can honestly say that I was not as I knew that we were in great hands.
