I am a lifetime Central Coast resident, born and raised in Templeton. I have spent most of my career in the hospitality industry. It wasn't until I started a job in catering management that I realized I had a passion for weddings. I continued doing catering management for 2 years, and then I started assisting all of my favorite wedding planners for 2 years. Most recently I landed a job in Venue Management and that is when I knew I wanted my own wedding planning business. In my free time I love to go hiking, lift weights and spend time with my family, including our 4 rescue pups. I look forward to meeting you!
I do not have a "that's not my job" mentality and nor will I work with people who have that. The wedding day is all about teamwork and making everything happen together. Also, I love to help every step of the way no matter what I am hired for.

Vendor recommendations, contacting and negotiating with vendors, and coordinating with all vendors to ensure a perfect wedding day. Rehearsal coordination, full on-site coordination day of, and post wedding follow up. | Complimentary 1 hour consultation to understand your current planning status and overall vision. Review any existing contracts, decisions and plans made so far. Vendor recommendation and assistance. Coordination with all contracted vendors. Wedding timeline and checklist. Excellent Wedding Planner
Sara was very organized and professional - the wedding felt structured and streamlined without feeling like we were on a schedule. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get married in Santa Barbara County.

Her communication is quick, clear, and proactive—she’s always prompt in responding to questions and incredibly helpful with any requests. The quality and value of her work are exceptional. She is efficient, detail-oriented, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Her coordination leading up to each event is outstanding, and she keeps us well-updated on any changes so we are always prepared. Although she only made her debut at USSB this year and has already worked two weddings for us in 2025, we’ve been so impressed that we immediately added her to our preferred vendor list. We wholeheartedly recommend Sara Elizabeth Events to anyone planning an event!
Best Coordinator Ever!
Sara Elizabeth Events was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding coordinator. From the start, her communication was quick, helpful, calm, and efficient. The quality of her work and value she provided was truly amazing - she was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and sweet throughout the entire process. Sara made it possible for us to fully enjoy our wedding day, as we didn't have a single person ask us a question. Sara was a very calm presence and had all the answers, responding quickly to any questions we had. We could not have had such an amazing wedding day without her! Could not recommend her enough!!

Sara is the BEST! As a wedding photographer myself, I work with a lot of coordinators and vendors, and Sara is truly one of my favorites. She is incredibly personable, so easy to work with, and always quick to respond to any questions. She's organized, attentive, and absolutely on top of her game from start to finish.
