“We cannot say enough about how incredible Ani is. First off, we consider ourselves lucky to have even stumbled upon Ani without a referral (thank you, Google!). From the very first meeting with her, it was clear that partnering with her would set us up for success, and that she was made to bring order and flawless execution to the fun, but sometimes chaotic, process that is planning a wedding. It would be too easy to say that Ani is detailed oriented - she showed us this on our first venue visit, pointing out the important pros and cons to us, and asking the venue rep the important questions that we would have never thought of. But Ani’s true skill, at least to us, is that she cares. She cared about our vision, our preferences, and our opinions, and that’s really a testament of how much she loves what she does. Whether it was dealing with the multiple vendors, putting pen to paper and coming up with a mood board for us to piece together our vision, or organizing all contracts and budgeting, Ani was always one step ahead when it came to keeping things in check, and so very calm! We found the tools she provided us with, including the docs, checklists, vendor options, (and even restaurant recs for our honeymoon!) all to be extremely helpful throughout the planning process. It was also extremely helpful that she’s worked with so many of our vendors before, and knew who to go to for what - they all were amazing. Her flexibility and ability to adapt to any environment or any request we had is admirable. But perhaps even more important for us was her ability to give us her genuine opinion, this you can’t put a price on. Ani made our special weekend more than we ever knew it could be - it was all perfect. Her team is amazing, too. They were all organized, efficient, patient and so kind. For our rehearsal dinner and wedding, we literally had nothing to worry about - everything was executed more than perfectly!! “Working with Angie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. My husband, mom, and I often talked about how incredible she was and how we couldn’t believe we thought we could plan the wedding without her! We started planning on our own for the first year and then brought Angie on for the final three months—it was completely worth the investment (in hindsight, I wish we had hired her sooner). Angie is beyond generous with her time. Our weekly meetings, scheduled for an hour, often extended to two, and not once did she make us feel rushed. Her entire approach is so thoughtful—she took the time to really get to know us and our families, and she truly understood our vibe. Then, she took everything to the next level, suggesting creative touches we’d never have thought of, like turning our seating chart into a map of NYC with table names for different neighborhoods! One of the biggest reliefs was having Angie coordinate directly with all of our vendors. She worked with everyone—our venue (Tavern on the Green), rehearsal dinner and brunch venues, hotel, hair and makeup teams, band, photographer, and baker—meaning we didn’t have to manage any of that ourselves. She even managed our payment schedule, which was such a huge help. Angie was always full of great ideas, and she didn’t just come up with them—she would go ahead and make them happen! From printing all of our signage to supplying candles, photo frames, and even ring boxes, she has everything you need. Her calm, empathetic nature and fantastic listening skills made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. We made things more difficult for ourselves by "breaking the script" (hiring a DIY venue and 2 food trucks to supply the dinner) but Laurie and Lina helped us navigate it all. They were the perfect buffers when it came to unresponsive or uncooperative vendors. On the day of the wedding, we got SO many compliments about how nice our planners are and how beautiful everything was. Towards the end of the planning process we were messaging Laurie almost every day and she always had the best attitude and sense of humor! “Deliece & Melissa were integral to the success of our beautiful wedding, and life savers in their day-of coordination of the event. I selected a ten week package where my fiancée and I selected our vendors and personalized the event to our tastes, but in the two and a half months leading up to the big day they dove in head first to get a handle on every detail and help us polish off any items on our to do list that we were struggling with. After hours of meetings to extract information that had been swirling around in my brain for a year, we were provided with a minute by minute timeline of the day, along with an entire decision making workbook that lead us through ceremony choices, first dance planning and a comprehensive item inventory to make sure no detail was left behind. They provided a budgeting workbook that made my little accountant heart flutter, and offered guidance based on years of practical experience working events and seeing how guests congregate and react to specific elements. Once their package kicked in I was able to pass off tasks that were stressing me out and know that they were being handled completely. Their additional day-of team member, Antonia, shadowed me (the bride) for most of the day and acted like a fairy godmother—handing me an already opened bottle of water or much needed electric fan, provided hair pins out of thin air, tackling my complicated bustle, and generally being warm, pleasant, and comforting in moments of anxiety. She melted into the background when I was on, and offered a protective enclave to sink back into when I needed a minute. The Dhalia team was flawless in their execution of the plan, and tactful in their handling of complex family relationships and herding of guests. Their pricing was clear and uncomplicated, and they were happy to answer straightforward questions with concise answers and no awkwardness or pressure to spend more than planned.
