Recently hosted my May 2022 wedding at The Hummingbird Chateau and it was amazing! The farmhouse is gorgeous with full kitchen, additional sitting rooms, vanities for makeup/hair (an absolute game changer for day of getting ready) and bedrooms. Morning of wedding went seamlessly with all the amenities. The owners are the nicest human beings and really have an amazing eye for detail which can be seen throughout the whole venue. The option for their barnwood reception tables and wood chairs, as well as arbor was so convenient and was one less hassle for wedding planning. Truly an amazing venue and so grateful I could be one of the first brides to enjoy!

We couldn't be happier with our wedding at Yorkie Acres, it was everything we had dreamed of for our special day. Here are our top five favorite things about our experience: 1) The owners Jason and Alea were absolutely amazing to work with and it felt more like we were making a new set of friends rather than working with a business. 2) The highland cattle! Not only did they provide a beautiful addition to photos, our guests loved interacting with them. The number of times at the wedding, and since, that attendees have remarked about the cattle are too many to count. 3) The location can't be beat. It is only 20 minutes from the resort area around Deep Creek Lake, 10 minutes from a major highway, and 30 minutes from Morgantown, WV. It's location allowed us to have the intimate experience we sought, while still having easy access to lodging, recreation, and vendors for the wedding. 4) The yurt and tiny container house. They are both perfectly set-up for a couple to have everything they need for a comfortable stay. My husband and I stayed in the yurt on our wedding night and were not disappointed. And a bonus of the tiny container house is it has a composting toilet and sink. This may not seem that exciting, but as a bride in a large wedding gown not having to use the porta potty cannot be over stated. :) 5) The photos. Because of the natural beauty of the area, farm animals, historic barn, and flower gardens every single photo that was taken had an amazing backdrop. From the professional photos to the ones snapped by a cell phone we have yet to find one that isn't perfect. If you are looking for a place to have a rustic farm wedding, don't look any further Yorkie Acres is the venue for you.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Alyssa, their wedding coordinator, and all of the staff at Maryland National Golf Club. Alyssa is very professional, detail oriented, and super easy to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. She made perfect recommendations based on who we are as a couple, and filled in the gaps with details we had forgotten about. The staff as well was extremely friendly and easy to work with. After our wedding, our families, guests, photographer, and DJ could not say enough good things about Alyssa and the staff here! Maryland National Golf Club itself provided a beautiful, intimate setting for our wedding. We had a little over 90 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We used the outdoor ceremony space and rented white chairs from the venue. They were set up exactly the way we asked, and it turned out beautiful. We also rented their white arbor for the ceremony itself and asked for it to be set up in front of the beautiful greenery and plants on the right side. We provided decorations for the chairs and the arbor, and Alyssa and her staff set everything up perfectly. We also used the inside, upstairs space for our reception. We decided to have our sweet-heart table in front of big windows, and the tables for our guests set up around the rented dance floor in the center of the room. Appetizers and food were served in the space to the right of of their fireplace. Again, it was intimate and perfect! We provided decor for the tables as well and rented their candle vases and Alyssa made everything so beautiful. Everything flowed well, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. We also used their catering services, and everything was phenomenal! Another aspect of our wedding that our guests could not say enough about. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The day of our wedding, I did not feel stressed or worried about any details coming together because I knew everything was prepared and being taken care of by Alyssa and their capable staff. They gave a dream day that my husband and I will treasure forever.

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

TLDR: If you're on a super tight timeline (we had four months!!!!) and looking for a venue that does it all and THEN some for a really great price, this is the place for you!! I SWEAR. I literally had zero stress in any of the big decisions because they did it all for us! In-house catering with amazing food (guests raved about it during and after wedding), setup and cleanup without you needing to worry, in-house bartending, three different wedding package tiers to fit your budget, and the dreamiest venue site with history (dates back to 1850). My biggest stress was finding the right decor and my dress! Huge huge shout out to coordinatorsMeaghan and Brandi, who were the best with easy, quick and constant communication, and made sorting the details really fun. --- More details: We were planning a wedding in four months, as my husband is active duty in the navy and was set to leave in late July. We toured the venue days after finding it, and booked a date day-of after our tour. All we needed to do was pick what food we wanted (they were able to accomadate us doing a tasting on the weekend because military schedules are tough), what beverage package we wanted, and any add-ons. Throughout the four months, Meaghan was so easy to make changes and update our estimates as we wanted to add on or remove things. On the day of the wedding, I handed over a list of details on how to decorate the reception area and Meaghan, Brandi and staff did NOT disappoint. It was absolutely PERFECT. They were there to help my poor best friend's boyfriend MC the wedding with tips on what to say. Meaghan had a ceremony script on-hand when the officiant didn't have one (and showed up late; she was ready to officiate for us if she needed). They even kept the dance floor open for a few extra songs as T and I didn't get a chance to dance pretty much after our first dance and parent dances (we were pulled every which way). And when it came to tearing down after the fact, everything was boxed up and ready to go by the end of the night. I could write so much more, I literally love them so much for everything they did for us. Milton Ridge was absolutely perfect.

We had our wedding at Melhorn Manor and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue offers gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that were very flexible for our event. The staff was so organized and made our wedding day timeline stress-free. They were also very quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the big day and were willing to help in any way. We truly appreciated their communication and customer service. The value of the venue was well worth it - the beautiful grounds and architecture made for a memorable event for us and our guests. If you are searching for somewhere to have the perfect outdoor wedding, look no further than Comus Farm. Lauren and Kara truly pulled out all the stops to make our wedding day unforgettable! In 2023, my husband and I were looking for wedding venues: we were very specifically looking for someplace that would not require a lot of decoration work, since we were planning the whole event ourselves. As soon as my husband and I arrived at Comus Farm, I said “this is it, I want to book this place.” The farm is located in pleasant countryside, and the farm itself has a very beautiful entrance through trees and sunny fields: many of our guests commented on how this made the drive from the off-site ceremony to the reception at the farm very enjoyable. We toured the rose garden, outdoor dining and dancing pavilions, and the large barn, all of which are airy and open, making it feel very welcoming. The farmhouse Airbnb was spacious, clean, and well decorated. Lauren and Kara were both so kind, and they provided a lot of information with us in our first meeting: we signed the contract about a week after seeing the place. Lauren and Kara used AislePlanner to help us get going with our wedding planning. The website is easy to use, and the provided checklist covered literally every single tiny detail you could possibly need to consider for the planning journey. I was especially pleased with the seating chart map, it made it so easy for us to track guest meals, stage table set up, and communicate special requests. It also prints out the layout really nicely if you need to send it to your catering company. Our wedding party stayed at the farmhouse Airbnb the night before and after the wedding. Everyone had a really fantastic time, there was more than enough space for the girls to get ready in the AM, and the food provided was delicious! During the reception, my grandparents enjoyed their dinner in the kitchen so they could get some quiet time and rest, but they were still close enough to the wedding so they could say hello to the guests and listen to the speeches happening in the dinner pavilion. I also cannot say enough about how much we appreciated Lauren and Kara’s thoughtfulness throughout the planning process and on the day. They patiently answered so many of our questions, and they allowed us to come by three separate times to see the farm and meet with our vendors. They coordinated the vendors without a hitch, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. Kara drove the two of us and our photographer out to more remote areas on the farm to get some portrait shots. Lauren coordinated some fun photos with the alpacas, which was a lot of fun! Comus Farm is truly a beautiful spot to have a wedding, complete with a team that made our day perfectly stress-free. I’ll definitely be looking for any other reason to book with them in the future :)

The Manor at Mountain View

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!

Landis has 3 venues that vary in size but you’re also able to take pics throughout the property. It’s such a unique place and stands out. Our guests were intrigued by the venue and thought the atmosphere was so cool. Everyone who works there is amazing and they really help you through the process. Our wedding was very DIY but I never felt alone and could reach out with any questions even if it didn’t directly relate to space. The buildings vary in age but there’s so much history behind all the original buildings it’s truly incredible.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and the team at Inn at Leola Village for our wedding and if we had to do it all over again, we would choose them every single time! The venue offers a great deal of variety - it's rustic with industrial charm while offering modern finishes- something totally unique that we loved. While the Inn itself is quaint and has a ton of character throughout making it a very unique experience for guests. When it came down to planning the big day our coordinator, Stephanie, was an absolute joy to work with. Not only was she incredibly informed and on top of the ball she was very patient with me and my (many) question filled emails. We had to postpone our 2020 wedding due to Covid and thank god for her because she remained calm and ensured us that we will get our perfect day no matter what - she was not wrong! On the big day Stephanie had everything under control. I was able to sit back and actually enjoy the day, something I hope every bride/groom gets to experience. One thing I want to make sure I mention is how spectacular the food was. Having been to quite a few weddings myself, I’m not a fan of the food that’s usually offered but this does not apply to the Inn at Leola Village. I have a food allergy and they had no problem working with me so we didn’t have to compromise taste for my comfort. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food for cocktail hour and dinner was plus the portions were generous! No seriously, my husband is asking if I can try and recreate the Penne with Lavender Honey Sauce because it was that good (I have yet to succeed). PS get the homemade donuts for dessert, you won’t be sorry! Thank you to the incredible staff at Inn at Leola Village for making our dream wedding come true. We will be back for our anniversary next year!

Our wedding at Valley Run Farm was absolutely lovely and working with the Yost family was exceptional. Lynn was extremely helpful in every aspect. From beginning to end, her friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail was spot on. The venue was able to accommodate our large wedding party and guests comfortably. They converted a pole barn/riding arena into a charming reception area which includes a bar, restrooms, 2 secluded bridal party rooms, and an outside patio area with exceptional views. In addition to the beautiful wooden tables and chairs, Lynn offered items, like table clothes, vases, lanterns, and other rustic decorations that we used on our special day. The Yost family was onsite and available for anything we needed during the rehearsal dinner and wedding day! I can’t thank them enough for making our best day perfect!

Historic Acres is a stunning wedding venue and provided the best backdrop for our big day! The team was easy to work with and there was plenty of space for our guests to spread out. If you are fortunate enough to have your event outside, the flow of the venue is exceptional! What kept us from giving five stars were that the morning/early afternoon of our wedding, there was another event on site and couples touring the venue which took away from our privacy. The contract states the venue is yours after 2pm and you can pay more for it to be yours all day so if this would impact you, I would recommend doing so. We also had to make the decision the day before about being inside versus outside due to a 50/50 wedding forecast which was difficult. Finally, you are not able to store items on site prior to your wedding day. Thankfully we rented a van and paid our vendors more to pack/unpack the van so there was less of a lift for us on our big day but worth noting!

Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

Drumore Mill was our DREAM wedding venue! We were looking for a rustic, nature-rich wedding venue that had an outdoor feel but still was covered in case of rain, and also had the option for us to bring in our own caterer, stay on-site with our bridal party and immediate family, and enjoy the property for the full weekend, and Drumore Mill checked all the boxes! Thuy was great to work with & super accommodating when we wanted to do our engagement photos on the property and come back and visit to take more pictures and measurements before the wedding...I couldn't stop visiting because its so beautiful. We got an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests on the venue and how beautiful and unique the space was for a wedding. Everything went incredibly well for the weekend and we were so happy with how everything turned out. We would definitely recommend Drumore Mill if you're looking for a unique wedding venue in the Lancaster area. And we will be coming back to stay on the property in the years to come!

t is exactly one month since our daughter's wedding at the Oak Barn at Loyalty, and we are still on cloud nine! It was the first and best decision we made in planning the wedding. The beautiful mountain views and scenic property create magic for the wedding photos. "Stunning" is the word our guests used repeatedly. We were fortunate to have great weather and could really partake in all the amenities the Oak Barn offers. The lovely patio with twinkling strings lights can be used all day and evening. The covered patio area with the fireplace provided a respite for those looking for a quiet moment as did the upstairs balcony. And corn hole allowed some friendly competition! But the Barn itself is truly the show stopper. Even if it had rained, I wouldn't have worried because the inside space is easily convertible between ceremony and reception. A large wooden bar was added upstairs this year, and it was one of our guests favorite things. But the absolute best thing about booking with Oak Barn is Barb and Ernie. They are THE BEST! They truly want you to have the wedding of your dreams and they will do whatever they can to ensure you do. They know their venue inside and out and can offer suggestions on any topic. Their standards and expectations for vendors are high but the mutual respect we saw between both groups was clear. On the biggest day of your life, you couldn't be in better hands! And you leave the experience feeling like you have a second family. As a mom, this meant a great deal to me.

Wes and Jill and all of Cimiez Manor made our wedding truly magical. We met Jill in November of 2019 right after we got engaged looking for a venue that could handle a moderately sized wedding without breaking the bank and still available on the most popular wedding date of 2020 at the time (10.10.2020). The venue is off the beaten trail up the road from Dry Mill Winery. When you drive down the road you see a beautiful manor house that checked off our first box. We walked into the house and Jill decorated the giant chalkboard wall with our name for an extra special touch. The high ceilings, giant chandelier, Victorian era decor, and the speakeasy charm had us hooked. Once we signed, Jill and Wes kept us updated on all the happenings at the venue and changes that incurred with a COVID wedding. They worked well with our wedding planner and we really couldn’t have had a better wedding. They even let us hide a bottle of whiskey on the property for good luck! If you are truly looking for a magical wedding, Cimiez Manor should be the first choice!

Pinstripes made for an incredible day. We cannot thank them enough for their space, and help through the day. This year we worked with Pinstripes, setting up the rooms, food choices, and many of the other logistical challenges of planning a wedding. We were able to work closely with our contact at Pinstripes and she was quick to answer any questions and concerns we had. Organizing the event, with varying guest counts - with people dropping out and surprise additions - Pinstripes handled it amazingly and their communication lines made it feel easy. The space on the day-of was amazing, we had a wedding of 100 people and we were able to mingle around the library, as well as the outside terrace. Bocce ball was available and used by the children, which I think was very helpful to guests with children. Their ballroom is beautiful and we loved the tall windows surrounding the room and the pictures we have already look incredible. Something people are still talking to us about is the food. The food at Pinstripes is amazing. I don't quite know who the chef is but they are doing an amazing job. I feel like Pinstripes very well might be one of my favorite restaurants in the area. A benefit also of picking Pinstripes is that their wedding food menu is largely the same as the restaurant menu so you can go back at any point to re-try your wedding meal again - something we definitely plan on doing. Following the reception, which went incredibly thanks to the wedding coordinator from Pinstripes we had an hour of bowling with all of the lanes reserved for us which everyone loved. I feel like bowling was a great way to involve everyone in an afterparty. Even though it's our own wedding, we definitely don't think we'll ever be to a better one (unless it's also at Pinstripes!). Besides everything else, the location was amazing too. Being steps away from a hotel (and blocks from additional hotels) made it easy for our guests. There multiple options for post-post wedding party locations. We saw a farmer's market open on the day of our wedding that we heard some of the guests visited. We'll be happy to make our return to North Bethesda for many date nights, likely including bowling with it. Pinstripes had it all, location, professionalism, food, staff and coordinator, the fun-factor. We know we had the best wedding of our lives here.

I CANNOT say enough great things about Clyde's!!! I really wanted to keep things as simple and efficient as possible buy getting a venue that would be what I would consider to be "all inclusive" in terms of reception necessities (tables, chairs, food, silverware, glassware, dishes, linens, etc.). CHECK! I also really wanted our wedding reception to have an elevated simple yet elegant garden party aesthetic. DOUBLE CHECK! Plus, I used to show horses and am an avid equestrian, so the fact that they have an equestrian theme was just the icing atop of the cake! When we first went to look at the space, I fell in love with it! We ended up reserving the outdoor terrace for the reception and also. the two rooms upstairs for our wedding party to get ready in. The outdoor terrace was absolutely gorgeous and the reflecting pool was just spectacular! Having the rooms upstairs to get ready was great because then we had a place to escape and also to leave our belongings safely and securely. When getting ready, they had the waitstaff come upstairs and we could order anything off of the brunch menu. That was a lot of fun and made everything so relaxed and enjoyable! Tara and Keeley were absolutely fantastic! Super professional, super quick with responses, and great upbeat personalities! They really helped make our wedding day so spectacular! Another bonus, since we reserved the outdoor garden terrace, they also reserved and indoor option for us as well for a rain plan - FREE OF CHARGE! Everyone at the wedding was saying how great the food was, the atmosphere, the staff, everything was superb! I honestly can't think of anything I would change. I can't say enough great things about Clyde's I HIGHLY recommend them! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or any event, as they have so many different options for event spaces!! Go check out Clyde's NOW!! The design process was so much fun! Natallia really invested in getting to know us personally which would inspire her recommendations. I wasn’t a bride that had dreamt of every single detail down to the color of the napkins but I knew the style and ambiance I wanted and gave Natallia and her team artistic license to come up with designs that matched my inspiration board. The outcome was breathtaking. Several guests mentioned it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever attended. A unique twist Natallia and her team came up with was a way to acknowledge that our wedding date also happened to be Cinco de Mayo. They set up a beautiful taco and tequila welcome bar before the ceremony that our guests devoured. The food from the welcome taco bar to cocktail hour to dinner and then the dessert bar was 5 star restaurant quality. The tasting event was my husband’s favorite part of the entire process but also the most difficult because it was too hard to choose with some many delicious options. We ended up upgrading our dinner menu and adding additional hors d’oeuvres. The artistic presentation combined with the decadent flavors had our guests complimenting for weeks. Choosing The Manor at Airmont was the best and easiest decision of the entire wedding process. Their staff were incredibly detailed, attentive, and genuine. The Manor is a truly special place, that makes all its guests feel welcome. This is a dream venue for any couple looking for a stunning location, with an exceptional design team, matched with delectable dishes and cocktails. We had our ceremony outside by the lake, our guest used the outdoor patio space for cocktail hour then we had dinner and dancing mostly inside. It was the best of both worlds with air-conditioning while we ate yet being able to use the outside since the weather was so nice. Jacque and her team were very easy to work with and basically allowed us to do whatever we wanted with the space. Food, alcohol and decoration set up were included in the per person pricing which was amazing for us since we live out of state. Everyone raved of the food and drinks, the beautiful ceremony and the overall great atmosphere. There is also a house for rent on the property which made getting ready a breeze since the bridal party and S.Os were all able to stay there. Jacque and her team truly made the weekend so stress free for me and my husband, I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else!
