Enjoy everything the farm has to offer! Walker's Overlook is the founding venue in the Overlooks family. We are very proud of our farm; the charm of the treelined drive, the stone house, and the allure of photographs in front of the vintage car which has been in the family for generations. We are excited to meet you and delighted to help you plan your perfect day! From the spacious bridal suite upstairs to the mancave downstairs there's so much more to the stone built colonial house than just great photo ops! The old walnut tree at the ceremony site is a gorgous backdrop to your vows with the rolling countryside and farmland of Maryland completing the perfect setting. Then reserve a sweet spot on the patio or inside the house for cocktails before dinner is served in the spacious tent. Complete with hardwood floor, the tent can accomodate up to 275 guests comfortably, and still has space for a large dance floor.

A jewel on the farm at Walker’s Overlook is the centuries-old home that was constructed in 1757. It has a classic brick facade and quaint shutters. There are two dressing rooms in the farmhouse. One of these spaces functions as a game room, providing entertainment for the wedding entourage as well as a chance to mingle. Outside, many couples choose to exchange vows under the branches of the walnut tree located behind the home. Cocktail hour can be held on the patio, offering a designated space for each of the proceedings on your special day. For the reception, the venue boasts a tent that includes a spacious dance floor. Up to 275 individuals can be accommodated in this structure. The wood flooring inside the tent creates a rustic and chic ambience while the neutral tones provide a template suiting a variety of wedding styles.

We have several connections with local caterers that can provide you with excellent food and service for your special day. You are more than welcome to bring any vendors of your choice, but please know we will provide you with a complete vendor list to choose from to help make your wedding day run smoothly and create a day as unique as you! Walker’s Overlook employs a wedding coordinator who works with you from the initial booking to your actual celebrations. Their job is to ensure that your use of the venue goes according to plan, alleviating some of your wedding-day stress. When you book the farm, you have access to the site for 12 hours which includes the use of the historic home. Tables and chairs are also provided to help you get the site ready for guests. To help you orchestrate your special day, the team at the farm has a list of vendors they can connect you with. That being said, the team also allows you to bring in other businesses, giving couples the ability to craft a wedding that fits them best.
