About this venue

We are the ideal venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and other events. The barn is a significant architectural and historic site. One of the largest Confederate field hospitals after the battle of Gettysburg with an on-site restaurant, brewery, and distillery. We close to the public on days when we host events.

    We held our rehearsal dinner here and the food and staff were amazing! We did buffet style and everyone was raving about how wonderful the food was, especially the bbq! They have beer and cocktail/liquor options for everyone. Highly recommend!

    Found this venue through zola and ended up being the perfect place for our wedding! Not only is the venue, beautiful and historic the food and the ambience was great! We were planning this wedding from afar, and Justine was a perfect host and responded quickly to any request we had. She basically planned our whole wedding for us down to the cake and flowers and we couldn’t be happier. We were not working with a huge budget and they were able to accommodate our every need. We had an adorable ceremony inside the venue with dinner and reception afterwards. A full buffet with all the fixings and incredible appetizers. Everyone was not raving about the friendly staff but the spirits that were made in house. If you are looking for an affordable rustic wedding venue with homemade spirits this is the place!

    The venue was absolutely beautiful, and they were very flexible with us bringing in outside caterers, coming up to work on layouts, etc. A majority of our “contract” was word of mouth, which we are guilty of on our end as well. We were charged for an open bar tab when we explicitly said to the owner that it would be a cash bar, and there was a lot of confusion about cleaning the venue. Unfortunately, my wife and I had an emergency and had to leave our wedding early, so our friends cleaned up for us. Our friends stated that the venue was not very polite once we left, and had they been polite, the end of the night could have been a lot smoother. I was not there, so I am glad everything worked out, but I was very disappointed to hear this, after we had nothing but positive experiences thus far. I would still consider this venue again, but I would ensure we had a written contract to cover both ends.
