About this venue
Located in the town of Clifton, VA and bordering the Bull Run River, Paradise Springs is the closest winery to Washington DC and the first in Fairfax County. The property was originally part of a land grant from Lord Fairfax in 1716 to the Kincheloe family and has been passed down through generations since. The property features a 1700’s log cabin, which was renovated in 1955 by a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright. Wine tastings, tours, and much more can be found at this intimate, family run, destination winery. Our charming, rustic spaces are perfect for everything from engagement parties and bridal showers, to rehearsal dinners and the big day! Our breathtaking property, which features expansive views of our estate vineyard and historic cabin, is the perfect backdrop for all occasions. Our team is dedicated to making your vision come to life from beginning consultations to the wedding itself, so you can enjoy your special day worry-free.

THE TASTING ROOM & BACK DECK

This premium space is available after the winery grounds close for business every day of the week except Friday. Private events can begin at 7:30 pm with conclusion at 10:30 pm or 11:30 pm with last call for wine service one-half hour before closing. We follow these specific time blocks as the winery does not close early on any day for private event rentals.

THE RED BARN & PATIO

Our Red Barn & Patio rental venue is our newest venue at Paradise Springs. The two-story structure was rebuilt in June 2016 from our reclaimed 19th-century barn that originally stood 12 miles away in Fairfax City, VA, and moved to our grounds in the 1950s. Suitable for anything from meetings to celebrations, the Red Barn features two floors of rustic and elegant event space accommodating up to 120 guests indoors with additional space on the surrounding patio and upper-level deck. The Red Barn can be rented as one venue or as two more intimate spaces; the Stable Room and the Hayloft.

Included in this room:
The Stable Room on the lower level features a 700 square foot room opening to an expansive covered patio space overlooking our grounds. The Hayloft on the upper level features over 800 square feet with dramatic views of our vineyard, cabin, and grounds and an elevated deck adjoining the room. The centerpiece of this room is the European crystal chandelier. The floors of this space are the original exterior barn boards and the original hayloft ceiling all dating to the late 19th century.
THE VINEYARD PICNIC GROVE

The Vineyard Picnic Grove venue is available during our normal hours of operation April through October and is located next to our Cabernet Franc vineyard. This open air, 1280 square foot semi-shaded area can be divided into two sections. Each section has a separate bar area as well as 4 picnic tables. In the event of inclement weather, there is no backup space available. In the event of rain at the time of the rental, we offer a full winery credit for the advance rental fees paid.

Gorgeous fall wedding
From the moment we inquired about hosting our wedding at Paradise Springs Winery, their communication was clear, responsive and timely. The team worked closely with our wedding coordinator to plan the perfect layout for our ceremony and reception, creating a stunning, rustic, charming and intimate setting that was absolutely beautiful. The staff on the day-of were incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring our special day went off without a hitch. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue - Paradise Springs truly exceeded all of our expectations.
