Nature of Design pushes the boundaries of classic and contemporary floral design to create stunning creations that leave a lasting impression. We draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the innovation of art and most importantly, our couples. We believe in a collaborative relationship to bring our clients' vision to life.
Janet has made Nature of Design a household name in the event industry. From Special Events awarded tablescapes to presidential inaugurations to NDA celebrity weddings, her experience is vast. She is known for thinking outside the box and is always up for a new challenge.

Frederick county $6000 minimum for delivery and installation DC, Baltimore, Virginia is $10,000 minimum delivery and installation We do offer pick up services at our Walkersville warehouse along with a drop off service where clients meet us on loading dock and they set up all the designs.
DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania and beyond. We travel nationally and internationally with our travel teams ready to travel. We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services for clients who meet our minimums.
Our first consultation is done by phone to get to know each other and see if we are a good match. Prior to the chat, it's important to send over a pinterest link or images of your wedding vibe. We custom create and design for all our clients. The first proposal will be a pricing estimate to see if we are the right fit. When we go under contract a full proposal will be presented and you are welcome to visit our large studio to see and select decor items that will fit your vibe.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day. For larger weddings we suggest reaching out to us a year prior to your wedding date.
Yes! After the contract is signed, we provide a mock up for a fee. The choice is yours to see what you would like so the price may vary We prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal and vendor commitments are due.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery
Yes! We have a large warehouse with unique props and floral related items, and we have great relationships with other vendors to rent linen, table items, chairs, lighting and furniture rentals. Get in touch to see our full list.
