DAVIDSON DESIGNS is a floral studio that specializes in weddings, events & installations for clients with impeccable taste and an eye for timeless details. We work with bold blooms, wildflowers and seasonal greenery poised in complementary containers. Paired with abundant candlelight, our floral arrangements & installations are quietly vibrant, wildly tamed & simply sophisticated.
WHAT MAKES US THE ONE? 1. COMMUNICATION - We understand when planning your event, you'll have lots of ideas & questions. Got an idea in the middle of the night and need to email us? No problem! We always respond. 2. DETAILS make the magic in an event. Weddings in particular require attention to every facet to thoroughly build an environment. There is no detail too big or too small. 3. EFFICIENCY: Events have a lot of moving parts. We are professionals in logistics. We coordinate early set ups, build almost all designs offsite, and work in collaboration with your other vendors to create seamless experiences for our clients.

COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!
I cannot express enough how thrilled we were to have Mary from Davidson Designs as our wedding florist! From our very first meeting, Mary’s passion for floral design and her attention to detail shone through. She took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in a way that completely exceeded our expectations. The flowers were nothing short of breathtaking! Each bouquet, arrangement, and centerpiece was meticulously crafted, showcasing her incredible talent and creativity. Mary seamlessly blended our chosen color palette and incorporated unique blooms that perfectly complemented our venue. Beyond her artistry, Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, professional, and truly invested in making our day special. She was very respectful of our strict budget and truly made magic. On the wedding day, everything was set up beautifully, and we received countless compliments from our guests about the floral arrangements. Stunning flowers and amazing service
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mary and Davidson Designs! From the moment we first met, their professionalism and dedication to making our day perfect were evident. They had a detailed intake survey to understand our vision, venue, and budget. We had a small wedding of 25 guests at a boutique hotel in DC. We received a document with theme colors, proposed flowers, and detailed item list to make sure everything matches expectations, from the types of candle votives to the color of the bouquet ribbons. The service we received was exceptional. Every interaction was pleasant and reassuring, and Mary was incredibly responsive to our questions and updates. Mary scheduled a final walk through a month before the wedding as a final check-in. On the day of the wedding, the flowers arrived right on time, exactly as promised. This punctuality alleviated so much stress, allowing us to focus on enjoying our special day. The arrangements themselves were nothing short of breathtaking. Each bouquet, ceremony installation, and the garland for our long table was crafted with such care and artistic flair that they became one of the most talked-about aspects of our wedding. The bridal party and guests were absolutely enchanted by the floral designs. Many of our friends and family commented on how beautiful and unique the arrangements were, adding an extra layer of elegance and charm to the celebration. The colors, the variety of flowers, and the overall presentation were perfect in every way. Davidson Designs truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day beautiful and memorable, especially when other florist turned us down due to how small our wedding was. Their talent and commitment to excellence shone through in every petal and every detail. We are forever grateful for their incredible work and highly recommend them to any couple looking to add a touch of floral magic to their big day!
Exceptional flowers and experience
Working with Mary was unbelievably wonderful. She is delightful and creative. The flowers were BEYOND anything I could have ever imagined and they transformed the space. Mary's small touches and attention to detail were so special. I loved it. When I talked with Mary, I expressed how I wanted vintage oyster cans as the centerpieces but they were cost prohibitive. However, she suggested I make my own design and create them - and so I did. She filled them with beautiful plants and it was my favorite touch of the whole wedding. Lastly - I did not choose to have a bouquet. However, Mary created both a boutonniere and bouquet and left them with a lovely note, that was so thoughtful. I felt so special. I actually didn't know about those until the next morning, so it was like a new surprise even though the event ended - I had something that felt magical again. It was really nice.
Romantic Vision Brought to Life!
From our first call to the day of our wedding our florist Mary exceeded our expectations. She found the right balance of listening to and validating our preferences and making recommendations when we weren’t sure. Some things we really loved: Her intake questions: They were thoughtful, intentional, and covered things we hadn’t even thought of. This was so helpful as we did not not have a planner, and we didn’t know what we didn’t know. Mary ensured we had all the items that would tie our day together like personals and installations for the ceremony and reception, including candlelight for a little extra magic. Our personalized vision board: Mary put together a document that recapped our ideas, focusing on color theory and seasonality. She provided examples, size specs, and details of what would be included in our contract. This document gave us confidence and clarity that we were aligned on the look and feel for the day and we all knew what to expect. Her craft and care: The day of the wedding, Mary arrived on time with a smile. She worked so seamlessly and efficiently to set up our arbor, reception and cocktail tables, as well as adding some floral flair to our bar area and a photo-opp area. She told us it would be romantic, natural, and timeless and it was everything we wanted and more. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the flowers and tablescapes were and we were beyond happy with how everything came together.
