Choosing Union Mills Public House as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to make us feel like more than just customers—they genuinely cared about us and our vision for the day. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and willingness to accommodate our needs made the entire experience stress-free and truly special. The venue itself is breathtaking, offering the perfect blend of charm and elegance, but it’s the staff who truly made it unforgettable. The compliments we received from our guests were endless. Everyone raved about the stunning space and how seamlessly everything came together. Thanks to Union Mills Public House, our wedding day felt magical, personal, and flawless. I can’t say enough good things about Union Mills. They have a full liquor license and the most amazing in-house catering. Niko and Mary are the owners, and they’re the most down to earth, and easy going people. They truly helped to make our wedding day so perfect. Niko is also the head chef, and my guests have not stopped talking about how good the food was at our wedding. I can truly say the food was exactly the same excellent quality at our wedding, that it was at our tasting. Everything came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious! I’ve also met servers who have worked for him and they’ve all said he run the cleanest and most efficient kitchen they’ve ever worked in. Our guest were also so impressed with how efficient the bar was. We had about 150 guests, and no one had to wait in a long line the whole night because Billy kept the bar moving so fast and efficient! The drinks were ABSOLUTELY amazing. It was super important to me to offer alcohol removed options for my guests, and Mary went out of her way to make sure there were options stocked for us. They were beyond accommodating. They were a WONDERFUL venue and we are so, so grateful to have picked them for our wedding day!

Union Mills Public House was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the moment we first reached out, the staff was open, informative and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, their attention to detail and seamless execution ensured everything ran smoothly. The space itself was absolutely beautiful - the exposed brick walls, high ceilings and elegant decor created an exquisite and intimate atmosphere that our guests raved about. The food was also outstanding, with many compliments on the quality and presentation. We are so grateful to the entire team at Union Mills Public House for helping make our special day truly unforgettable.

We cannot say enough good things about Niko, Mary, Billy and the entire UMPH staff who made our wedding day extraordinary. The level of care and commitment this team took to ensuring our day was special was unparalleled. From the food to the beautiful cocktail space and grand ballroom it was everything we wanted it to be. Not to mention the 105 degree heatwave day in June, they kept our guests cool and calm in the midst of a bitterly hot day. From the minute we booked Niko took care in making sure we understood exactly what we were paying for with no hidden surprises. Mary took care of the bridal party morning off as the ladies were getting ready and Billy ensured the front of the house was smooth sailing during the reception. Many guests commented at how smooth the entire event went and it’s a testament to the great work of Niko and team (along with Sarah from Sleeping Bee who was one of UMPH’s preferred day of coordinators). I would highly recommend UMPH for your Frederick destination wedding.
