Welcome to Glen Ellen Farm, where romance has deep roots and even the biggest of parties can feel intimate. We are a historic outdoor venue specializing in garden-style weddings and events. Located in the town of Ijamsville, within the rolling hills of Frederick County, Maryland, and just 55 minutes away from the DC metro area.

Outdoor Reception Tent

Elegance and scenic views are what you can expect when you host your outdoor wedding reception in our spacious tent.

The Glen Ellen tent comes with beautiful bronze chandeliers and twinkling string lights to create a romantic ambiance for your special dances, speeches, and of course, the party to follow. Whether you choose to decorate the tent with greenery and drapery, or leave as is, you and your guests are sure to enjoy the party!

    Glen Ellen Farm is gorgeous! The venue was amazing. All our guests complimented the beauty of Glen Ellen, and our pictures are beautiful. A great mix of different settings - a pond view, a little sandy beach area, a flower garden, rustic stone ruins. Debbie, the owner, is great to work with and very responsive!

    I can’t say enough good things about Glen Ellen Farm! The property is BEAUTIFUL and was so perfect in every way. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the house is beautiful, and Debbie is amazing. She answered all of my questions and you can tell she is truly passionate about what she does. The tent, tables, and chairs were included which was a HUGE bonus for us. We ended up putting the sides of the tent down due to wind. Don’t know what we would have done if that wasn’t an option. Our guests loved the venue almost as much as we did. Thank you Debbie and your team for a perfect day!

    Glen Ellen Farm was the perfect place for our wedding in June. Debbie is amazing and worked with us to ensure that our day was perfect. We could tell that Debbie takes immense pride in this venue and her job. The list of vendors that she uses are reliable and amazing to work with.     The most perfect wedding venue! I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere other than Glen Ellen. Every area of the venue is stunning! The owner, Debbie, was absolutely amazing to work with! She was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process and during the event itself. She truly cares about her clients and will ensure that your day goes exactly as you envisioned. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about this beautiful venue.
