Our Wedding Was More Than We Dreamed It To Be!
Ceresville Mansion was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, the staff was caring, quick to respond, and considerate of all our requests. The venue itself is an amazing space, with beautiful gardens that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The all-inclusive package they offered was an incredible value, and the vendors they recommended were truly outstanding. They worked with us to make so many custom requests a reality, and our wedding day was more beautiful and amazing than we could have even dreamed of. The food was insanely good, and the entire team at Ceresville Mansion contributed to making our wedding day absolutely perfect.
BOOOOOOOO YOU STINK!
it all began with the air conditioning. For a place that looks extravagant outside, you'd think they'd care more about the inside--BUT THEY DON'T. The Bride and Bridesmaids were sweating the WHOLE TIME getting ready and despite requesting that the air be turned on enough to keep it cool...it was only moved up one notch! How is that supposed to help cool a room full of people? Moving on to the little snacks they had available. You think it's hard getting candy from a baby? Try getting snacks from this venue! I'm not sure what happened there, but how is one little charcuterie board, with fruit-flavored cheese, supposed to feed a party of 14?! It was gone within the 1st hour and they did not bring us more. It was honestly a little annoying. They were asked multiple times to bring up more snacks. They seemed to be more happy with hiding in the back office and having little meetings than accommodating their guests. They only thing they were good for was giving over bottles of champagne and even for that they had to be chased down.... As the dinner started, things seemed to be going well. We were being served and everyone was having a good time.. Once it was time to be served the meals we selected, some of us were given the incorrect meals! Imagine how bad it could've been had somebody had an allergic reaction?? Staff was very careless and you'd think for the price Ceresville would care more--but I guess not. As the wedding came to an end, the bartender tried to close the bar earlier than the allotted time slot. I understand wanting to clean up and be gone before the end, but if you're being paid to be a bartender the whole wedding, why do you feel it's right to close before then?? Also... if you guys plan on getting the open bar, do think twice, the drinks will be extremely watered down and before you know it, you'll be full off of sugar and carbonation. Just think twice before using them as an option. If you don't mind watered-down drinks, sloppy staff, unavailable and sometimes late coordinators/planners, stingy kitchens, and sweaty changing rooms, do not hesitate to put them them in charge of your next event!
Highly recommend
We had our wedding at Ceresville Mansion and cannot recommend them highly enough. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for our special day. Communication with the staff leading up to the event was timely and responsive - they always got back to us right away whenever we had a question. On the actual wedding day, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They checked in frequently to see if we needed anything and handled all logistics behind the scenes so we could simply focus on enjoying ourselves. The service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a stress-free wedding with beautiful scenery, fantastic food, and exceptional service, Ceresville Mansion is the perfect choice. We wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple searching for the ideal venue to host their big day.
Beautiful venue with lackluster service
We loved the venue and the stunning garden for our ceremony. The planning services and all inclusive packages really made things easy and economical for us, which was great! We were disappointed in how different the “day of” services were described to us instead of how they actually were. We were expecting to have a hands on day of coordinator that helped with the schedule and organization of the day. We also expected a day of attendant who was present and helpful in getting us food and drinks when we were running around like crazy. Unfortunately we barely saw either of those people and got minimal help from them. Starting at our rehearsal, our coordinator seemed overwhelmed and confused, which I chalked up to maybe some of our wedding parties being late or thinking she was new and inexperienced. Our wedding morning was chaotic and stressful and we were unable to film or stream our ceremony for our families because we didn’t get the assistance we needed from the venue staff that was promised. We never got to taste any of our appetizers on the day of because our attendant was not around and we were outside doing photos. We didn’t get help from the coordinator because she was bartending or doing things downstairs while the photographer tried to run the show without her. I raised the issues to the venue the day after the wedding and never heard back.
