Our venue offers a memorable, romantic and serene natural setting amidst the rolling hills of West Virginia. Sitting in the shadows of the highest peak in the eastern portion of West Virginia. Cacapon Resort State Park offers 6,000 acres of exciting outdoor getaways all year-round. The word Cacapon is a derivative of a Shawnee Indian word meaning "medicine waters," a reference to the area's mineral waters that have been renowned throughout history for their healing powers. The park is frequented by both nature lovers and adventure seekers from around the state, as well as nearby cities such as Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Cacapon Resort is also a draw for history buffs due to its proximity to the historic town of Berkeley Springs and Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Extend your stay by booking a room at the park’s recently renovated lodge — the newest in the state park system, in a cabin, or the restored Old Inn.

This space features of 32,000 sq ft. space overlooking our beautiful beach area. With a Fall wedding it is even more beautiful with the changing of the leaves. Comes with 26x12 inch deck outside perfect for picture taking or just taking in the view.

We booked our April wedding at Cacapon and it was perfect. We booked the Old Inn for the Rehearsal Dinner and as a place for us and the bridal party to stay. The ceremony took place out on the terrace and the reception was inside the ballroom. Everything was perfect!

No, our venue is fully insured.

Your reservation concludes in about six hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up, but any room is available from 7am to 10pm.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 30 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges for food. If you reschedule within the following year all payments made can be used at that time.
