The gardens of Historic Tuckahoe offer an unforgettable outdoor venue just outside of Richmond, VA. This charming property offers guests a number of beautiful garden spaces and manicured lawns to host your once-in-a-lifetime event. Famously known as the childhood home of Thomas Jefferson, the 18th-century house and outbuildings provide a fascinating backdrop for outdoor celebrations. The venue at Historic Tuckahoe is the ideal setting for your long-awaited celebration. A pet-friendly venue, Tuckahoe offers many spaces, including a ceremony site and several reception areas. Both sides of the wedding party have access to "get-ready rooms," in the Historic Main House and the Old Stable. Burlington offers couples the exclusive use of the property for the duration of their occasion. Two outdoor ceremony sites are available, as well as an expansive indoor ceremony space that can double as a reception venue. The indoor wedding space in the Stables features exposed wooden beams and custom chandeliers, while the gardens and lawn offer views of the surrounding countryside for an outdoor ceremony.
