The Hotel John Marshall opened in 1929 as the largest hotel in Virginia. Its rooms welcomed Elizabeth Taylor, Mary Tyler Moore, and Elvis Presley along with political figures such as Presidents Nixon, Ford, and Carter. After sitting vacant for over 20 years (save a few attempts to open) the building recently underwent an $80 Million renovation, spanning two years of construction to strip it back to the bones and restore it to its original 1920's grandeur.

The venue at Historic Tuckahoe is the ideal setting for your long-awaited celebration. A pet-friendly venue, Tuckahoe offers many spaces, including a ceremony site and several reception areas. Both sides of the wedding party have access to "get-ready rooms," in the Historic Main House and the Old Stable. Also included a chauffeured golf cart shuttle for guests, grounds lighting, power & water, and restroom facilities for up to 100 guests. Additional tents can be erected for as a safeguard in the case of inclement weather and a 57 x 117ft Sailcloth tent is included with the venue rental.
