“Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! “Kaci was the perfect day-of-coordinator and we highly, highly recommend her. She shepherded us through the month- and day-of calmly and confidently and made the wedding day run smoothly. About a month before, we met with her to discuss our priorities for our wedding, establish a timeline, and make sure we were on top of all the details. She came to this meeting very organized, and prompted us to think about things that weren't even on our radar - as an example, whether we wanted a grand entrance and what song we'd like for that. As we got closer to the wedding day, she took over communicating with our vendors and provided all of them with detailed itineraries and instructions. A few of our vendors told us that Kaci was one of the more organized coordinators they've worked with. She was very responsive if we had questions or wanted clarifications and was always open to more communication. On the day of, she was perfect - we felt totally at ease knowing that all of the vendors knew the plan and that Kaci would tell us where to be and when. She had a calming tone and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and was instantly responsive if we needed anything or wanted to make last-minute changes. “Michelle was our canine coordinator on our wedding day and she took care of our dog and made it possible for him to be a part of our wedding celebration. Michelle did a meet and greet with our dog and you can immediately see her love for dogs and also her experience working with them. Our shiba is a stubborn boy who can tune others out when he’s curious, but Michelle was able to get his attention when needed. She also took him back to our hotel and fed him and we were able to enjoy our reception without having to worry about who was taking care of our dog. If you are interested in having your pup involved in your wedding, I highly recommend Michelle. We had a worry free experience with her around because we knew our dog was in good hands. “Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! “I am writing a detailed, long review in hopes of helping a to-be-bride easily make the decision of who to hire as their wedding planner, since I initially had so much trouble finding an actual planner in the literal sense of the word. After meeting with 5 wedding planners, I noticed that what they all were offering was merely following my directions, asking what I wanted, how I wanted, etc. and would just be executing exactly what they wanted me to tell them. None were going to “plan” but would be coordinating things based on what I had to tell them. After a while I decided that by taking this route I would be enduring the same amount of stress and anxiety, and did not need to pay to have someone call vendors, rental companies, etc. on my behalf, seeing that I could do this mostly on my own. Ready to forget about a wedding planner, at the suggestion of my now-husband’s aunt who had hired Narose and her team previously, I decided to give it one more shot. I don’t know whether it was luck, fate, or God looking out for me, but whatever it was, it was the best thing that happened in terms of planning our dream day. Both my husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Narod and how instrumental she was in making our wedding nothing short of perfection! Unlike many “planners” I had met with, who simply coordinate and execute based on a couple's directions, Narod goes above and beyond by actually helping you craft that vision in the first place. She doesn't just nod and follow instruction, she actually brings ideas, inspiration, and fresh perspectives to the table, making the entire process feel exciting rather than overwhelming. On top of all that, she does so within your budget. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand our style, personalities, and priorities. Whenever we felt stuck or unsure, she provided creative suggestions that we never would have thought of on our own. Whether it was unique decor ideas, timeline tweaks to make the day flow more smoothly, or vendor recommendations that perfectly matched our vibe, she always had thoughtful, well-researched input. For us, one of the biggest stressors of wedding planning was the decision making process which is time consuming, stressful, and seemingly impossible. “My wife and I came to Kelsey with a big challenge: Help us turn our family's private property into the perfect wedding venue - and use as many hyper-local vendors as possible. Kelsey jumped right in, making herself available for crucial site visits, identifying vendors as local as possible to the location (also our home tome) to fulfill the long list of things we needed to pull this off, and left us with little to worry about throughout. Kelsey was proactive in communicating, anticipating things we needed before we did (like a true pro), and provided multiple options for us to choose from. When we needed to go back to the drawing board, Kelsey took the feedback really well and quickly got us moving forward again. One example of how awesome Kelsey is as a planner and day-of coordinator is how she planned and handled our complex transport logistics. The venue was a remote farm-like property up a steep, winding, single lane road with no lighting and minimal parking. As such, we needed to shuttle guests to the venue. Furthermore, the ceremony site was up a steep hill in nearby pasture, with only a dirt road for access. Kelsey quickly identified a shuttle vendor that could handle the task and worked with them to ensure it could happen. She worked on the shuttle schedule and timing so much, we had things timed to the minute. This was personally the single most anxiety inducing aspect of our day, and Kelsey made me feel confident and helped me focus on enjoying the day itself. Of course, all shuttling went off without a hitch, and the guests were really impressed with the organization. Finally, when we made a last minute (literally week before) decision to look for a videographer, Kelsey not only found us a fantastic videographer team, but got us a great deal, with extra coverage time and drone footage. I highly recommend Kelsey as both a planner and day-of organizer. You couldn't be in better hands.”
