I’ve always been inspired by the strong, ambitious women in my life who built successful small businesses in the hospitality industry — from restaurant owners and bakers to caterers and florists. Growing up surrounded by their entrepreneurial spirit, I was motivated to follow my own path and create something meaningful in the world of events. After spending two years working as a Wedding Coordinator at the Westin, the pandemic hit and forced a pause on hotel weddings. That unexpected turn of events only fueled my determination to turn my passion into a full-time business. And so, Kaci Danae Events was born.
What began as day-of coordination has evolved into a comprehensive range of event planning services. Whether you’re looking for full-service or partial wedding planning, corporate event management, or expert day-of coordination, I am here to ensure every detail is perfectly executed. Kaci is amazing, hire immediately!
Kaci was the perfect day-of-coordinator and we highly, highly recommend her. She shepherded us through the month- and day-of calmly and confidently and made the wedding day run smoothly. About a month before, we met with her to discuss our priorities for our wedding, establish a timeline, and make sure we were on top of all the details. She came to this meeting very organized, and prompted us to think about things that weren't even on our radar - as an example, whether we wanted a grand entrance and what song we'd like for that. As we got closer to the wedding day, she took over communicating with our vendors and provided all of them with detailed itineraries and instructions. A few of our vendors told us that Kaci was one of the more organized coordinators they've worked with. She was very responsive if we had questions or wanted clarifications and was always open to more communication. On the day of, she was perfect - we felt totally at ease knowing that all of the vendors knew the plan and that Kaci would tell us where to be and when. She had a calming tone and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and was instantly responsive if we needed anything or wanted to make last-minute changes. We were able to focus entirely on enjoying the party. We are so glad we chose Kaci!!
Very professional and timely
Working with Kaci was a pleasure. The wedding went without a hick-up. All the pre-planning was very timely and very well-detailed. I would recommend Kasi to anyone in need of a wedding planner.
HIRE KACI!
I literally could not have gotten through my wedding without Kaci. She is absolutely fantastic. She is super organized, always cool as a cucumber, very experienced with all the moving pieces of event planning (which I absolutely was not), and just a truly wonderful human who my husband and I were delighted to have with us on our special day. It's so rare to find someone willing to do day-of wedding planning (instead of month-of or full service planning, which quickly becomes extremely costly and was more service than I wanted). I have heard it is difficult for coordinators to come in "day of" to a brand new venue, so they prefer to only offer more involved packages and/or only at venues they work with regularly. But Kaci crushed it at my venue (Brazilian Room in Berkeley) even though it was her first time there. She was extremely reasonably priced and honestly for the service we got, we easily would have paid 3x as much. Think no more and HIRE HER!
As Good as it Gets
I recently worked with Kaci as a wedding day coordinator for a client's special day, and I cannot speak highly enough of her services. Kaci was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish - she is professional, organized, and extremely knowledgeable about all things wedding-related. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, Kaci was incredibly prompt and thorough with her communication, ensuring that everyone involved in the celebration was on the same page and that everything was going according to schedule. She was also incredibly friendly and approachable, making the entire process feel effortless and stress-free for everyone involved. Kaci's attention to detail and organizational skills were truly impressive. She made sure that every aspect of the wedding was executed flawlessly, from the seating arrangements and timing of the speeches to the coordination of vendors and guests. As a DJ company, we truly appreciated Kaci's ability to keep the event running smoothly and on schedule, allowing us to focus on our role and provide the best possible experience for the bride and groom and their guests. Overall, I would highly recommend Kaci to anyone in need of a wedding day coordinator. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor make her an absolute joy to work with, and I have no doubt that she would exceed your expectations in every way possible.
