Bolingbroke Mansion was built fifty years before the American Declaration of Independence and is just fifteen miles from where that historic event took place. You'll find a beautiful staircase in their gardens that provides a stunning backdrop for photos. There is a side porch overlooking the sprawling green lawns and giant trees for cocktails and receptions. Stone-raised stairs and a landing in their memorial garden provide the ideal backdrop for any wedding ceremony, speech, or picture session. Seasonal flowers, lovely deciduous trees, and evergreens can be found in the magnificent private gardens that lead off Bolingbroke's back patio. If you are seeking an exquisite garden setting you’ve arrived at the right place! There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. Hosting up to 190 guests, the Farmhouse offers numerous indoor spaces for your event including the bright and open main terrace hall, indoor lounge and bar, dressing suites and more. Outside, a large wrap around deck and patio overlook the gazebo bar & gardens. The Farmhouse is proud to be a women-owned business, still managed by the fourth generation of the Murray family. Built in the early eighteenth century, the Belmont Mansion is one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in the United States.
