Surrounded by seven acres, Historic Acres of Hershey features both indoor and outdoor spaces for events. The four-season Pavillion is climate controlled, allowing couples to celebrate their love throughout the year. Historic Acres of Hershey allows soon-to-be-weds to choose their own caterer and beverage service for their event. The team offers a list of trusted vendors that they have worked with in the past to make the planning process simple. Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

Located in the heart of Amish Country in historic Lancaster County, the mansion was built around 1845 by Captain William Fassitt as a place to host lavish parties and entertain guests. Which has the unique distinction of having been a stop for the underground railroad Today, guests still arrive to enjoy the tranquility of the rolling farmlands, or to take the short drive to outlet shopping, Longwood Gardens and the many Amish attractions of the region. The main house sleeps up to 24 with seven bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms. The Fassitt Mansion and its two acres of grounds also provide the perfect setting for weddings
