The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. During the 18th century, it served as a tavern on the Conestoga wagon trade. In the mid-19th century it became an inn and hosted numerous travelers. Purchased by James Hale & Louise McClure Steinman in 1927, it was fully renovated and restored in 1930 by architect Frank J. Everts. Among the venue’s many visitors was the great-nephew of Edgar Allan Poe.
