About this venue
Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer's is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia at 914 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, PA 19342.

The Garden Shed
A beautifully rustic space paired with modern amenities for celebrations of all kinds.
The Garden Shed boasts original features that are complemented by contemporary additions and amenities to create a charming and rustic setting for celebrations year-round. Enjoy access to the adjoining Hot House, which serves as an extension of the reception room. With ample space for both dining and dancing, the room features barnwood floors, twinkling festival lights, farmhouse tables and seating, and rotating seasonal adornments.

A magical venue!
Terrain was the only venue I looked at for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect! They are so organized and professional throughout the entire process. Their team went above and beyond the day-of to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Courtney is the best and helped with all of the details along the way. She is a fantastic coordinator and I can't say enough about how helpful and stress-free the process was due to her guidance. We also used their in-house floral team, Design by Terrain, and the flowers were gorgeous. I still can't get over our floral cloud! The space itself is stunning and we received so many compliments about the venue and food! It was a magical evening and everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!
Perfect Venue
Terrain at Styer's was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From the very first meeting, their communication was flawless - they never missed a beat and were always available to answer our questions. The quality of their work and attention to detail was truly unparalleled. They absolutely made sure my wife and I were comfortable at all times, and they also made sure we had a few moments to relax and soak everything in - we truly appreciated that personal touch. The venue itself was so unique and perfectly suited our vision. I 110% recommend this place - it's top notch!
A wow experience
Having our wedding at Terrain was an 11/10 experience. We felt prioritized, cared for and the staff was so genuine from the start to finish. Carla made the planning process a breeze and was able to gage my personality and my needs. The attendees were by our side the whole day of the wedding catering to us filling us with such joy and love. We appreciated the personable experience from the moment we reached out to inquire about the venue to the moment we left the night of the wedding. We couldn’t have asked for more.” We want to give a huge thank you to ALL of the staff and anyone involved with making our day so special. We will remember the attention to detail and being cared for to the MAX. I will NOT stop recommending this venue to anyone and EVERYONE. WE LOVE TERRAIN.
Great Venue with amazing food
Terrain was the best! They were easy to work with, very responsive and helpful in every way. The food was AMAZING; we’re 2 chefs so that was extremely important for us. On wedding day you have a whole team to work with and every member of that team is wonderful. I would recommend terrain to anyone.
