About this venue

The Duke Sculpture Garden at the Dixon Mansion in Wallingford is housed on a 100-year-old estate. The most striking features of the four-acre landscaped grounds are Rapunzel stone tower and the Main Building, built in 1889. A newer 3,100 square-foot gallery has been added to the Main Building which is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible for your reception. Our 19th-century ballroom would be available as the perfect ceremony "B" plan. The Gallery features oak floors, soaring exposed rustic beam construction and beautiful lighting. Adjacent to the Main Building is a sweeping manicured lawn perfect for a fairytale wedding. Enjoy handcrafted pizza from our cob pizza oven as you stroll the grounds.

The Sculpture Garden at the Dixon Mansion sits on four acres of landscaped grounds. This 100 years old estate has it att! Beautiful manicured gardens with tons of photo ops including award winning sculptures, magical fairy tale turret, romantic lighted trees, beautiful fire pit and a handcrafted cobb pizza oven perfect for cocktails or after party treats. The venue is a gorgeous mansion built in 1889 including a 19th century ballroom perfect for the plan “B” ceremony and cocktail hour. The space has a 3,100 square foot event gallery space with oak floors, exposed beams and beautiful natural lighting.

Description

All menus include open bar with deluxe alcohol package, cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, entrees, accompaniments, wedding cake, coffee/tea and all set up and breakdown. You only need to provide flowers, photography and music.

We are so happy we found Duke Sculpture Garden! The venue is beautiful and unique. Everyone has been so lovely and helpful! I love that this venue is also a community arts center. Also, we are excited that JAM catering will be serving all their delicious food. Can’t wait for our wedding!

Duke sculpture garden is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. Great ceremony location options — both inside and out. The grounds are well kept and offer a wonderful outdoor space to gather. Inside you’ll find classic Victorian architecture with detailed woodwork which leads to a clean, modern reception area in their community art gallery. The space also serves as a community arts center. Highly recommend this as a unique, yet timeless, wedding venue.
