For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. The first of three Mercer buildings in Doylestown, Fonthill served as a showplace for Mercer’s famed Moravian tiles. Designed by Mercer, the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles. Chester County History Center is an exceptional and unique historic wedding venue located in the heart of downtown West Chester, PA. The magnificent grounds of Alverthorpe Manor unite an estate rich in American and Pennsylvania history with contemporary works of art exhibited by the Abington Art Center to provide a beautiful and unique venue for your special event.

At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

The Drexelbrook features a mix of classic and modern ballroom styles, as well as award-winning catering services and cuisine. Founded in the 1950s, The Drexelbrook was once a popular private club. Through the years, it has been transformed into the beautiful & luxurious event center it is today. With a Holiday Inn hotel & Streetlight Kitchen & Bar onsite, you can have all aspects of your wedding day in one convenient spot. Our beautiful outside terrace landscaped with a gorgeous fountain, is the perfect spot for a memorable ceremony. We can accommodate up to 300 guests for your ceremony and reception. Our timeless ballroom, is an elegant and spacious room. With uplighting and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling you can envision your dream wedding. As an all-inclusive venue we offer packages that include catering, bar services, chairs, tables, linens, dinner ware, utensils, and décor options all in-house. We also offer day of coordination and will take care of everything you need for your wedding to go off effortlessly! Our inclusive packages include, Four Butler-Passed Hors D’oeuvres, Two Cocktail Hour Stations and your selection from our Dinner Buffet, Plated Entrées, or Stations menus. It also includes a Five Hour Deluxe Bar Package, Champagne Toast & Signature Drink.

Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.
