About this venue

Thousand Acre Farm is a unique, rustic waterfront venue. We host weddings, parties, corporate events and fundraisers. Our main barn has 3 levels: The first floor Lodge room, the main floor for dining and dancing and our loft which consists of fun sitting areas for your guests as well as a bridal suite and salon. We also have the smaller Cider Barn where the groom and groomsmen get ready as well as an upstairs luxurious suite for an overnight stay.

The Main Barn

Rustic, Unique, Waterfront in tax-free Delaware

Our 8,000-square-foot, 3 level Amish-built barn boasts custom doors and hardwood floors throughout. The barn features fireplaces that enhance its rustic charm, including an outdoor fireplace on the enclosed patio and a grand fireplace on the main floor. Additionally, the barn includes four impressive custom bathrooms, as well as a loft and lounge area that overlook the first floor.

Groom's room and overnight suite

Our charming Cider Barn features two distinct levels: the downstairs Groom Room and the upstairs Sunset Suite. The Groom Room is an ideal space for the groom and groomsmen to prepare and celebrate before the festivities. The Sunset Suite, located upstairs, offers couples a luxurious rustic retreat. This suite is perfect for adding to your wedding package or for a relaxing stay at any time.

Our Honey Package is an all-day 10 or 12-hour venue rental. This package gives you the freedom to choose your own vendors. Please note, you are required to use one of our preferred caterers and bar service. Waterfront gazebo for the ceremony The entire Main Barn, all 3 levels: The waterfront Lodge room, the Main Dining room, and the Loft with balcony and Private Bridal Suite. Elevated waterfront deck with amazing views. The Cider Room in the Cider Barn Ping-pong and Corn-hole

Let us do the work for you! This package is designed for the couple who wants all the fun but not all the coordinating. We handle all the major details with our appointed professional team of vendors for your wedding. Minimum guest count of 100 required

A short and sweet wedding with extras! 7 hour rental of our beautiful main barn with catering and limited bar. Please keep in mind that within this time-frame all decorating and decor pack-up must be included. Barn closes at 11 pm.

    Thousand Acre Farm was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. They always communicated with us within 48 hours, ensuring we felt informed and prepared every step of the way. The views from their property are picture perfect - our guests were blown away by the stunning scenery.
