Hagley Museum and Library is an historic wedding venue in Wilmington, Delaware. The venue is located on the property of a nineteenth-century estate, the original home of the du Pont family, now home to Hagley Museum. With 235 acres of grassy meadows, towering trees, and historic heirloom gardens along the banks of the Brandywine River, you're sure to capture incredible photos of your special day. The property features three distinct event facilities for hosting weddings, the capacity varying from an intimate gathering of 20 guests or fewer, to an outdoor celebration with 200 guests.

With a beautiful entry through the glass silo, the auditorium has plenty of space to dance the night away with family and friends. Featuring a mid-century modern look, this room comes with a built-in stage, sound and projector system. There is a full kitchen just behind the stage allowing easy access for our preferred caterers.

Just off the auditorium, a double staircase leads down into gallery I. The smaller of the two galleries, gallery I is a great spot for cocktail hour and dancing. This room also serves as a beautiful location for indoor ceremonies in front of the fireplace (non-functioning) up to 90, or dinner seating for 70.
