For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. The Arches venue, known as St. Cecilia’s and St. Stan’s are the two newest venues in Western Chester County. During the ongoing revitalization project in Coatesville, the goal was to repurpose these beautiful churches into event spaces and to preserve their rich history. Tyler Arboretum is a gorgeous expanse of pristine woodlands, wildflower meadows, winding stream valleys, and butterfly-filled gardens nestled into the green rolling hills just 30 minutes west of Philadelphia. Among the historic structures preserved here, the centerpiece is a handsome stone-bank barn set into the grassy hillside, now outfitted for events and celebrations with tented flagstone patios, airy banquet rooms, private green room suites, and a rustic party loft with exposed beams and sliding barn doors.

The Duke Sculpture Garden at the Dixon Mansion in Wallingford is housed on a 100-year-old estate. The most striking features of the four-acre landscaped grounds are Rapunzel stone tower and the Main Building, built in 1889. A newer 3,100 square-foot gallery has been added to the Main Building which is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible for your reception. Our 19th-century ballroom would be available as the perfect ceremony "B" plan. The Gallery features oak floors, soaring exposed rustic beam construction and beautiful lighting. The venue is located on the property of a nineteenth-century estate, the original home of the du Pont family, now home to Hagley Museum. With 235 acres of grassy meadows, towering trees, and historic heirloom gardens along the banks of the Brandywine River, you're sure to capture incredible photos of your special day. The property features three distinct event facilities for hosting weddings, the capacity varying from an intimate gathering of 20 guests or fewer, to an outdoor celebration with 200 guests.
