Whether you want an intimate gathering of just the two of you or a large celebration of your love with 100 guests, let us help you do it all. Our gardens are planted with an assortment of perennials, annuals, ornamental trees and shrubs. There are melodic fountains scattered throughout the grounds, in addition to many enchanting little outdoor groupings of furniture. Book the entire inn, and our home is yours for the weekend. We have 6 luxurious guest rooms on the second floor; and on the first floor, there are various gathering places just to relax. And the fireplace is a must see! Decorate as you wish, and have the food that you love. Host your ceremony on the grounds or even at a nearby church. Take over the guest rooms for the bride’s family or the groom’s or, better yet, just you two and the members of your wedding party.

Conveniently located in Wilmington, Delaware, The Farmhouse is family owned and operated and hosts one event per day. The historical estate boasts a beautiful outdoor ceremony site underneath romantic willow trees & four acres of manicured grounds and gardens. Hosting up to 190 guests, the Farmhouse offers numerous indoor spaces for your event including the bright and open main terrace hall, indoor lounge and bar, dressing suites and more. Outside, a large wrap around deck and patio overlook the gazebo bar & gardens. The Farmhouse is proud to be a women-owned business, still managed by the fourth generation of the Murray family. As a small family-run business, the Farmhouse provides a personal touch and flexibility in hosting your dream wedding.

Greenbank is a beautiful setting for your DIY event, with historic charm and a natural outdoor setting by the Red Clay Creek. You’ll want to plan hours before and after your event for setup/decorating and cleanup. You can choose to rent in smaller blocks of time using our Standard Package or take advantage of our Wedding Package: it provides access to the site across two days to allow for stress-free setup, deliveries, rehearsals, photographs, and event preparations, plus cleaning services and other special accommodations.
