Conestoga House & Gardens is a historic wedding venue located in Lancaster, PA. The manor was originally owned by Christian Hershey, of the chocolate family, who built the house in the 1700s. During the 18th century, it served as a tavern on the Conestoga wagon trade. In the mid-19th century it became an inn and hosted numerous travelers. Purchased by James Hale & Louise McClure Steinman in 1927, it was fully renovated and restored in 1930 by architect Frank J. Everts. Among the venue’s many visitors was the great-nephew of Edgar Allan Poe. Aldie Mansion is home to Heritage Conservancy, a non-profit membership organization whose mission is to protect our natural and historic heritage. Aldie’s own story is one of a successful preservation effort, making it a fitting headquarters for the group. Situated in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, Olde Village Mill offers a rustic retreat for couples on their wedding day. Featuring its original stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and high ceilings, Olde Village Mill retains its past glory with the addition of modern amenities. Fitted with a climate control system, this venue can be used at any time of the year. Set on five acres of land, the mill's ground floor can be used as an indoor ceremony place, and upstairs, you will find a stunning second floor reception area and bedroom suites.
