Riverside on the Potomac was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was extremely responsive, timely, and direct in their communication, making planning a breeze. The venue itself is simply stunning, with beautiful river views and lush gardens that made for a gorgeous backdrop to our big day. Considering the beautiful setting and high level of service, we felt the pricing was very fair. The team went above and beyond to ensure we could utilize the entire property to bring our vision to life. They took care of every last detail and there wasn't a single hiccup all day or night thanks to their diligent coordination. Bowling Brook Mansion is incredible! This is a truly special venue. We offer our strongest possible recommendation, and our earnest thanks, to Debbie and her staff for making our wedding day more beautiful than we had ever imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous. The mansion is colorful and picturesque; the indoors are classy but not cluttered; the grounds are sprawling and luscious. We held our ceremony in a gorgeous, decorated, wooded grove, and took photos throughout the surrounding farmlands. We were very happy with the amount of space our guests had available to roam and mingle inside and outside the mansion. The ballroom was spacious, and with a cool summer evening, we were able to open an outdoor patio/tent area for guests to socialize. Also, when the evening wound down, we went to the roofdeck with close family and friends for a late afterparty under the stars—a gorgeous night in the countryside! Debbie and her staff are amazing. We can’t say enough about Debbie herself. She treated us like a member of her family, not just another customer. She was also easy to reach and easy to talk to throughout the planning process. She worked to understand our needs and sincerely respected our vision for our wedding, making several accommodations for our plans—such as permitting us to select off-list vendors, working with our family’s arrival time needs, and allowing us to stay in the honeymoon suite before the wedding. On our wedding day, she stayed on top of managing the vendors so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves. We owe a special thanks to Debbie’s staff for helping out in the aftermath of a hurricane. During the week before our wedding, the remnants of a tropical storm swept through Maryland. We were very worried that we would have to commit to an indoor ceremony, but the storm cleared late on Friday night, and Saturday was temperate and picturesque. Debbie and her staff arrived early Saturday morning and worked very hard to get the mansion and the grounds ready. Their hard work made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. If you are looking for an outdoor / garden wedding venue, I highly recommend Prosperity Mansion & Farm. It offers stunning scenery and affordable prices that will fit your budget. There is a charming, vintage bridal cottage and a mancave that brides and grooms can use and enjoy while getting ready separately for the day. I especially love the ceremony area; there are these gorgeous Egyptian doors the bride walks through to walk down the aisle. These types of doors are rare for an outdoor space. The tent for the reception is beautiful and has a unique brick patio area. But I think my favorite part about this venue is all the different little areas on the property, including the gaming area and a bird sanctuary that are so unique. There is a formal garden, a game area, a swing, and even a firepit for making smores. There are just so many places to take beautiful pictures, which I think is important to capture on such an important day. You can really get so much on your wedding day for such reasonable prices. Finally, Debbie the owner, really works with you in many ways.

The staff is amazing and gives recommendations for vendors that frequent there and their coordinator we had, Maddie, was a god send for an unfortunate event with our original photographer and was in constant communication with us prior to the wedding. Amazing views as well as a great area to get ready in for both guys and girls.

The Christian Royer House was the best venue for my wedding! What Michelle & Jerry offer for their couples goes above and beyond anything else I've seen offered by other wedding venues & owners. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, two separate floors for the bridal party to get ready, a honeymoon cabin, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. The venue is gorgeous and the fountain in the background made the ceremony so peaceful and romantic. We absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and the support Michelle & Jerry gave us was so helpful! Booking them was the best decision we made during the wedding process and highly recommend 100%!

When we started planning we wanted our day to be as stress-free as possible and fun so Attaboy was an easy choice. There was so much I loved about the venue, but here are some top considerations: Location/logistics- It was so easy to get everything and everyone to the venue and our guests loved how easy walking or parking was. Other vendors also expressed appreciation that they were able to get in earlier in the day and that it was easy to get to. Since it is off the creek, the outside area felt more intimate. There are also lots of cute areas to take pictures in the venue and just steps away. Aesthetics- the venue was beautiful! The simplicity of the set up really made our florals pop. They provided tables and seating which were perfect with our design. The whole space lends itself to so many different design possibilities. Also, since it is very cute/clean as it, we didn't need to go overboard with decor. Service- Anna was a huge help throughout the entire process. She made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly. She was also quick to address questions/needs. The day of the event all of the staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and fun!

Our wedding day at Highland Taps & Tables was nothing short of perfection, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. The venue itself was so charming, we opted to keep it simple with decor. There are so many places for amazing pictures, both indoors and outside on their golf course. Our wedding day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kirsten and the entire staff. Kirsten, in particular, stood out with her support at every stage of the planning process and on the day itself. She made sure everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our special day. One standout feature that set Highland apart was the spacious and private getting-ready area for the bridal party. This was a big plus for us as some other venues we looked at charged extra for spaces like that. The delicious food was served promptly, and every order was accurate. Our guests were impressed with the quality and taste. Highland Taps & Tables is truly a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have discovered it for our special day. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, attentive service, and great food, Highland is the ideal choice. I wish I had more unmarried friends to share it with. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Alyssa, their wedding coordinator, and all of the staff at Maryland National Golf Club. Alyssa is very professional, detail oriented, and super easy to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. She made perfect recommendations based on who we are as a couple, and filled in the gaps with details we had forgotten about. The staff as well was extremely friendly and easy to work with. After our wedding, our families, guests, photographer, and DJ could not say enough good things about Alyssa and the staff here! Maryland National Golf Club itself provided a beautiful, intimate setting for our wedding. We had a little over 90 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We used the outdoor ceremony space and rented white chairs from the venue. They were set up exactly the way we asked, and it turned out beautiful. We also rented their white arbor for the ceremony itself and asked for it to be set up in front of the beautiful greenery and plants on the right side. We provided decorations for the chairs and the arbor, and Alyssa and her staff set everything up perfectly. We also used the inside, upstairs space for our reception. We decided to have our sweet-heart table in front of big windows, and the tables for our guests set up around the rented dance floor in the center of the room. Appetizers and food were served in the space to the right of of their fireplace. Again, it was intimate and perfect! We provided decor for the tables as well and rented their candle vases and Alyssa made everything so beautiful. Everything flowed well, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. We also used their catering services, and everything was phenomenal! Another aspect of our wedding that our guests could not say enough about. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The day of our wedding, I did not feel stressed or worried about any details coming together because I knew everything was prepared and being taken care of by Alyssa and their capable staff. They gave a dream day that my husband and I will treasure forever.

As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. When I first arrived on the property to look at it, it was breathtaking so beautiful and so well kept, and obviously Lauren and Kara were so kind and sweet and so attentive to every single one of my requests and details. Fast-forward to wedding weekend, I had Kara and Lauren on speed dial if I needed anything and they were so helpful for any tiny request. I needed for my wedding party and family. The property is absolutely stunning. My wedding party and I stayed in the farmhouse the entire weekend from rehearsal dinner to a brunch on that Sunday and my friends, and I had the time of our lives. It was so accommodating to have family come from out of state. Be able to stay on the property in a nearby Airbnb that houses 20 people! I wasn’t worried about hotels, driving and transporting people or potentially having them drinking and driving. It was so nice to just be there the entire time. My friends and family have said that it was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to and I can concur that was the best wedding ever. I cannot recommend this place enough if you live in Maryland or nearby or somewhere on the East Coast or looking to do a destination wedding. This is your place to do it!!! I wish I could relive my wedding weekend. It was so magical and perfect and I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Comus farms!

When we came to tour the Cloisters, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to have it. The building itself is amazing, and was exactly what we wanted for the vibe of our wedding. The management was a bit hard to work with, and it was a challenge to work around their assigned schedule. We were only allowed 5 event hours, and 3 hours for setup, and another hour for cleanup. It'd have been much better to get another few hours through the day.

We had our wedding and reception at the museum in April 2023 - it was the perfect location for our 100-guest event. We had the ceremony and dinner in the courtyard, with a tent (because of uncertain weather) and a very small dance floor. There was plenty of space for more tables if you have a larger event. We used the exhibit hall for the bar, the octagonal room for dancing, and the narrow gallery for the buffet. We used the library to get dressed and to store our things during the event. The entire space, both indoor and outdoor, was lovely and perfect for the event. Dan and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and super helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

The outdoor patio area was huge and accommodated all of our guests with room to spare. They helped coordinate all of the event timing and logistics seamlessly so we could just relax and have fun. I recommend the Kentlands Mansion not only because of its charm but for the easiness it was to work with the staff. This was our first annual Christmas Party and we did not need to bring any additional decorations because the Mansion was beautifully decorated and created a warm holiday feeling for us and our guests. There was plenty of parking which is normally a concern with events but not here. I also liked that when it got a little warm because of dancing that we were able to step out on the canopied porch for some fresh air but was still able to hear the music. Looking forward to another event at the Mansion!

During the planning of our wedding, we worked with Amy, Sonia, and finally Katherine to create our ideal day. All were very pleasant, knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating with our arrangements, and were very responsive answering numerous questions that we had. The wedding set up was exactly as discussed and the transition from outdoor to indoor on the day of the wedding (way too windy a day for an outdoor ceremony) was seamless, thanks to the wonderful staff! The reception area, bar, and food was set up exactly as had been discussed and the food was delicious! All of the guests commented on how wonderful the food and staff were. Staff also was very helpful with connecting our music through the hotel's WIFI system. We were even given a room for dressing and preparing for the ceremony. The atmosphere was very relaxed and professional (but not stuffy) and we never felt rushed or anxious about any of the arrangements. The amount owed was exactly what we had been told so there were no surprises there. Overall, it was a perfect day and the staff and facilities at the Marriott couldn't have been any better. I would not hesitate to hold any future events there, knowing the kind attention paid to every detail to make every event special.

In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. We are honored to have such a beautiful and historic piece of history still within the family to share with you for your special day.

The staff at the Granary went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. We actually ended up needing to move our ceremony to a different area of the Granary hours before we were to start due to weather which caused us (bride and groom) to panic slightly but the staff went above and beyond to get it figured out and set up and it ended up phenomenal and none of the guests even knew. Everyone complimented us on how beautiful everything was and how smooth the transition went! The Thomas family jumped in to help wherever it was needed. The entire property is beautiful and there are so many different options for pictures! Would highly recommend to anyone!

The Oak Barn was the first venue we visited and we fell so in love with it we couldn’t believe it. After visiting a few others in the area we knew it was perfect. It is tucked away in a beautiful private yard overlooking the blue ridge mountains, with nothing but pastures and cows in any direction. Even the drive up is magical. The owners Ernie and Barb were wonderful through the whole planning process and are so willing to help cater to what you are hoping for for the big day. The were so helpful at every stage and planning with them felt like we were planning with family. The whole venue and process felt so intimate and how a wedding should be. The wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect or at a more beautiful location!

We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.

We hosted our wedding reception at Rocklands Farm and I was so happy with the experience! The barn has a rustic elegant ambiance and the surrounding farm and winery is picturesque. Their “corn crib” was ideal for appetizers and a fire pit while guests arrived before being seated, and a bonfire made a great outdoor space for a November wedding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They worked seamlessly with the caterer Simply Fresh and our cake maker. Their day-of coordinator was great, keeping the timeline on schedule effortlessly. This was something I was very stressed about so having it go so smoothly was huge for me. Our photographer Jonalee Earles was able to set up lights etc. ahead of time. One unique aspect was the variety of table decor and signage provided, which I was able to look through and select ahead of time and which fit the ambiance beautifully. It looked amazing and took the pressure off us to bring our own decor. Rocklands made our wedding day truly special. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stress-free, gorgeous venue with great staff!

The Box Hill Mansion was an absolutely stunning venue for our wedding day. Kelsey and her team were fantastic to work with - they were always responsive over email, which was our preferred method of communication. On the day-of, Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. When a few small things were forgotten or misplaced, like a printed copy of our vows or a forgotten groomsman's Polaroid camera, Kelsey quickly handled it so we didn't have to worry. She brought in an extra camera, printed my vows for me, in addition to the missing marriage certificate. The venue itself is gorgeous, and Kelsey's attention to detail ensured our wedding was magical and unforgettable. I was so thrilled with the quality of food and service from every staff member. From the communication to the exceptional service, we were so grateful to have our wedding at the Box Hill Mansion.
