About this venue

We are proud to present one of the most enchanting and unique properties located near Camp David for your special event with a large beautifully-restored bank barn and three historic landmarked buildings dating as far back as 1711! The 164 acres of meadows, streams, trees, open manicured farmland and wilderness surround you and your guests with the wonderful sounds and beauty nature has provided. The farm includes a large historic bank barn and three historic landmarked buildings. Any location can be chosen for an outdoor ceremony. However some popular locations for ceremonies include the old log cabin, weeping willow tree, patio, amphitheater and indoor stable.

    Barn Stable

    A stable with beautifully painted floors and stone walls with train perfect for an intimate ceremony or cocktail hour

    This space features 2,000 square feet of space perfect for guests to enter, sign a book or drop off a card and then enter for a beautiful ceremony or congregate with guests before a ceremony. A bar room is available on the adjacent paver patio also perfect for an outdoor ceremony.... Temperature controlled with restrooms close at hand.... Some enjoy being indoors while others love to enjoy the outdoors, field games and watching the sun set...

    Bridal Area

    The bridal area consists of three spaces for active dressing, hair and makeup and an informal meal or photo opportunities before the ceremony!

    The bridal area is one of four dressing options including a fully-renovated space for active dressing with full bath and double vanity, a balcony with new vanities with mirrors and power stations used for hair and makeup and a sky loft used for informal meals as the bridal party is getting ready with a photographer, etc. A perfect space for a first look with parents or fiancé!

    A great building with dart board, slot and PacMan machine, other games, a bar, kitchenette and full bath next to the pond. Have a tail gate party!

    The carriage house presents a large, temperature-controlled space with outdoor seating, bar, kitchenette with full bath and separate dressing area. Equipped with slot machine, dart board, Pac Man machine, other games and fun activities to do, this space is perfect for those wanting to 'spread out' and enjoy quality time together. Some enjoy fishing at the pond before coming inside to dress and some enjoy a tail gating party before the ceremony begins while watching the latest game!

      Ostertag Vistas was the best choice for us. We are so grateful for Donna, the venue owner and her staff for a day we will never forget. The views were amazing, everywhere. The Barn was just what we were looking for, all of our friends and family loved it. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Donna was very professional, detail oriented, and super to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. Terry, our Ostertag Wedding Coordinator, made perfect recommendations based on who we are, and filled in with so many details we didn't even know to ask about. The staff as well were extremely friendly and easy to work with from the Bartender to the Parking Attendants and especially the Wait Staff. After our wedding, our families and guests could not say enough good things about our wedding day at Ostertag. We had 120 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We had our ceremony at Fernwood, surrounded by gorgeous trees and a storybook brook, it was like a fairytale! We rented their arbor, and barn doors for the ceremony, perfect for making this space a magical dream come true. Our cocktail hour was on the Patio and our guests could also go into the Stable making this hour very spacious and inviting. When it was time for our reception, the staff escorted our guest to the main barn and helped our elderly grandparents with the escorted golf cart. The golf cart was also used to help our Grandparents get to the ceremony site and back to the cocktail hour, it was wonderful not to worry about how we would help them around that day. The main dining room in the Barn was setup by the Ostertag staff and when we entered, we were in ahh, everything looked amazing and just perfect. I will never forget our first dance. Our sweetheart table was setup in front of the fireplace, it was so intimate and just perfect! We provided the decor along with some Ostertag rentals, Terry and her staff placed it all together for the perfect setting. After dinner service, the staff moved our wedding cake to the middle of the dance floor for our formal cake cutting, they then sliced and served our cake to the guests as we danced the night away. The staff provided a perfect Coffee Station with Tea and Hot Chocolate for our guests to enjoy as well. Everything flowed well and as planned, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The day of our wedding, I did not feel stressed or worried about any details coming together because I knew everything was prepared and being taken care of by Donna, Terry, and their capable staff. They gave us our dream day that my husband and I will never forget and will treasure forever.

      Ostertag Vistas is a great place for a wedding, with plenty of views and space. There is not another house in sight and it is off of a busy road. The planning process was professional and easy. The Ostertag Vistas staff were proactive and accommodating. The day of coordinator, Donna was detailed and had the entire day planned out for us to help minimize stress.
