In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Here is how it works: Step one, you peruse our Moodboard Collections, get inspired, and buy the perfect blooms. Then you get access to exclusive, full length DIY tutorials! Step two, you recruit your floral A-team. Stock up on wine and get ready to faint as you unbox floral nirvana. Your flowers arrive 3 days in advance. Day 1, you prep. Days 2-3, you design. Day 4, YOU GET MARRIED. Step 3: Brag Your Face Off! Float down the aisle knowing your guests are totally eye-oogling YOUR hard work.

Beautiful, affordable blooms
We chose Flower Moxie for our wedding flowers and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Their DIY flower packages made it easy for us to create the exact look we wanted without the stress, and the blooms arrived in great condition with clear instructions on how to arrange them. The quality was outstanding – the colors were vibrant and almost everything stayed fresh throughout our wedding day. We saved a ton of money compared to hiring a traditional florist, but honestly, you wouldn't know it from looking at our photos. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for beautiful flowers without breaking the bank.

Flower Moxie Review
Our wedding had to be delayed a week due to the ice storm that took place on the east coast. Flower Moxie, particularly Luis was quick to respond. While they couldn't delay the flowers that had already been shipped, Luis helped to guide us on how we could care for the flowers and jumped in to delay a few flowers that had been left off our original shipment to arrive right before our new date. On top of that, Luis even shipped us another dozen roses (they were really the only flower that didn't survive the extra week)! We are so thankful for his help.

Beautiful Florals on a Budget
Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was an amazing vendor for our wedding. From start to finish, their communication was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. When I ordered my DIY flower kit from them, the quality of the blooms was luxurious, with high-end flowers like anemones, yet the overall cost was very budget-friendly. Their detailed tutorials and bouquet recipes made it easy for me and my bridesmaids to create the most gorgeous bouquets together. I'm so grateful to Flower Moxie for helping me achieve my dream wedding flowers on a reasonable budget.

We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie
