Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The NSCDA/PA owns its Headquarters House located at 1630 Latimer Street in Philadelphia. Built by and for the Dames under the leadership of Mrs. James Starr, Jr., the house has served as the Dames home since its completion in 1923. The building was designed by the Philadelphia Architectural firm Ritter and Shay. Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects, was instrumental in desgining the garden which is a four seasons delight to all who use the house. Headquarters is the setting for Philadelphia Stated Meetings, the meetings of the Board of Managers and its Committees, and for the Society's Annual meeting. The archives of the Society, including lineage papers of our members, both living and deceased, are housed here as well. Chester County History Center is an exceptional and unique historic wedding venue located in the heart of downtown West Chester, PA. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

For our wedding guests, a memorable ceremony awaits under the open sky or tented patio where couples can exchange vows amidst the lush garden. The terrace opens directly into the cocktail lounge to enjoy sparkling champagne and their favorite beverages.  Corporate events and receptions on the terrace are surrounded by our sweeping landscape shaded by trees and bordered by leafy plants. Inside, a stage for live entertainment with a large dance floor imbues the elegant ballroom with an energy ready for dynamic wedding and mitzvah entertaining. The stage works equally well for corporate day-long seminars and retreats with video screen and a built-in sound system.

The Willows sits high on a hill overlooking the breathtaking grounds of Willows Park Preserve in the heart of the Main Line in Villanova, PA. The venue offers an irresistible combination of quiet elegance and unsurpassed beauty. This historic mansion, a beautiful example of Spanish Revival style architecture, was built in 1910. The venue's capacity is 150 with outdoor dining in a white tent and exclusive use of the mansion and surrounding patios, courtyards, stone walls and landscaped grounds.
