Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm offers spectacular farm views and unique settings worthy of your vows. The serene farmland & rolling pastures paint an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. The Barns accommodate intimate weddings of 50 guests or larger celebrations of 150 guests. The farm itself dates to 1692, with a magnificent stone bank barn that has been standing since 1787. Country chic with a hint of rustic charm, Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm, offers lush pastures & authentic spaces.

Farm House Mansion

The Farm House Mansion is for all bridal party preparations.

Built in 1693 the fieldstone and clapboard home is truly one of our signature spaces, designed to provide all the conveniences needed for bridal party pampering & relaxation. Available 8am to 6pm wedding day.

Upstairs enjoy plush couches and comfortable chairs, a hair and make-up bar, ample mirrors and outlets. On the first floor of the home the bridal party can prep and relax before the festivities begin. Enjoy roomy furniture & TV in case the game is on. The first floor opens to a private patio overlooking the pastures.

    I'm going to start by saying we are floral designers who have been in the industry for 13 years combined. We have worked alongside some of the best industry professionals in the area and Avery and the Johnson's Locust Hall Team are by far the best! Our wedding was perfect. But more importantly, the attention and care leading up to the day from Avery is what truly made the experience special and quite frankly emotional. We just went back to the venue to pick pumpkins and are still reveling in the emotions of the day. Such a sweet family and location. Our guests had such a wonderful time each space we entered. I could go on and on about how perfect every detail was but instead i'll just say book this venue for your wedding or event, you will have such heart filled memories the rest of your life. Thank you Avery, Allie and the entire staff for giving us the best day of our lives!

    It's hard to think of where to start! From the first step of the tour they went above and beyond to help me figure out what would work best for my husband and I. I was not someone with a super detailed plan of what I wanted, I just knew I wanted to throw the best party I have ever thrown and for it to be mostly outside. Having the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was so amazing and accessible (the golf cart was also a bonus for those with mobility issues. The farmhouse was perfect for getting ready and photos in the trees for some much needed August shade. Avery was the absolute BEST day of coordinator, though let's be honest she was way more than just the "day of"- more my wedding coach in helping me figure out what were my next steps and totally handled everything. I had such an incredible time because there was such a wonderful human handling all of the behind the scenes things. I've gotten so many comments from guests about how much fun I looked like I was having and they mentioned how it's not always common for the bride to not be stressed and I can confidently say that it's thanks to Avery! Also the lounge and fire pit (and Fancy, the pony) were such great extras and worth every penny. So many guests commented on how it was just the perfect space. I cannot recommend this location and this farm enough! They really helped make it the most beautiful, stress free and perfect day.

Your August wedding day was beautiful- your table arrangements were fabulous, the event staff enjoyed seeing the array of colors and the coordinating fruits and veggies! As a day of coordinator, my favorite is to see the bride officially down the aisle, much planning goes into the day and seeing you fully enjoy it all was ultimate!     Locust Hall Farm is such an amazing wedding venue, you would be remiss to not consider them as yours. Everyone there is so kind, professional, and care deeply about giving you a wonderful wedding day! The location itself is so beautiful. From a bridal suite full of light inside a wonderfully curated farmhouse with so much character, to the ceremony space outside overlooking picturesque fields (you'll occasionally see it dotted with cows!). The cocktail hour barn and alternative ceremony space is intimate and romantic, draped with string lights and natural light flooding in from the large open barn doors. From here you can continue outside to enjoy the outdoor cocktail hour space while taking in the scenery. The breezeway barn is just beautiful and provides an elegant, rustic reception space for you and your guests to enjoy. Every time I am at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm there is fresh inspiration and something new to photograph that is unique to each couple's day! You have sunflowers, open fields, stone and wood structures for photos opportunities (just to name a few). They will even allow you to take pictures with the goats if you want! I wish I would have known about this venue when I got married years ago, it would have been my top choice!
