The Duke Sculpture Garden at the Dixon Mansion in Wallingford is housed on a 100-year-old estate. The most striking features of the four-acre landscaped grounds are Rapunzel stone tower and the Main Building, built in 1889. A newer 3,100 square-foot gallery has been added to the Main Building which is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible for your reception. Our 19th-century ballroom would be available as the perfect ceremony "B" plan. The Gallery features oak floors, soaring exposed rustic beam construction and beautiful lighting. Adjacent to the Main Building is a sweeping manicured lawn perfect for a fairytale wedding. Enjoy handcrafted pizza from our cob pizza oven as you stroll the grounds.

The Inn at Glencairn is an historic bed and breakfast that is perfect for the couple looking for a private, unique venue to host their intimate microwedding or elopement. Our three acre property has an 18th century barn, smokehouse, and manor house that provide a gorgeous setting for your event.

The NSCDA/PA owns its Headquarters House located at 1630 Latimer Street in Philadelphia. Built by and for the Dames under the leadership of Mrs. James Starr, Jr., the house has served as the Dames home since its completion in 1923. The building was designed by the Philadelphia Architectural firm Ritter and Shay. Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects, was instrumental in desgining the garden which is a four seasons delight to all who use the house. Headquarters is the setting for Philadelphia Stated Meetings, the meetings of the Board of Managers and its Committees, and for the Society's Annual meeting. The archives of the Society, including lineage papers of our members, both living and deceased, are housed here as well. Headquarters is also available to the general public to rent for weddings and events.

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Pocono Palms is a wedding and event venue located in Canadensis, PA, owned by two sisters. A former church, originally built in 1912, Pocono Palms is currently nearing the end of extensive renovations that began in the summer of 2019. Pocono Palms combines the rustic charm of the Pocono Mountains with lush greenery and modern lines, to create a memorable and unique oasis for couples looking for something different. The venue features a large outdoor garden, ceremony site and altar, and cocktail area. Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. It’s one of our greatest assets to be able to give our clients a robust and fulfilling event experience.

The building is steeped in history and reflected in the original wood moldings, hand carved mahogany staircase, and mercer tiled fireplaces. Archaeologist, anthropologist, ceramist, scholar and antiquarian, Mercer built Fonthill both as his home and as a showplace for his collection of tiles and prints. The first of three Mercer buildings in Doylestown, Fonthill served as a showplace for Mercer’s famed Moravian tiles. Designed by Mercer, the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles. Your guests will be amazed when they enter the tree-lined grounds and visit this amazing castle.

The Reading Country Club grand ballroom, our most popular reception venue, comfortably serves approximately 250 guests and has a large dance floor. Between anniversary dinners, baby showers, and birthday parties, there are endless occasions to get together and celebrate at Reading Country Club.

Built By Dimmick Drake in 1906, Castle Inn was the last of the great hotels to be built in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. Tourists flocked to the Gap to escape the summer heat and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware River. Designed by German architect Robert Brueckner, Castle Inn was constructed of poured concrete and timber beams, a European construction technique unusual in the United States at the time.

Opened in the Fall of 2016, The Ballroom stands as our 4th historical landmark in a pastoral green setting. All staffed and catered in-house, The grand Greek revival facility with its towering columns continues to honor the legacy of Charles Ellis, a local entrepreneur. Built in 1932, the location was used as a school for girls around the Philadelphia area. Now, Finley Catering plans to bring a totally new dimension to our brides and corporate clients by combining our culinary expertise and top-notch service with the idyllic grounds for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour along with the state-of-the-art grandiose Ballroom for your dinner and reception. At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

Built in the early eighteenth century, the Belmont Mansion is one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in the United States. The historic Belmont Mansion is not only beautiful inside but also boasts a spectacular view of Center City Philadelphia in the distance. Bolero was Designed by owner Jesse Muñoz. This building was originally called the Philadelphia Saving Fund Society. It was founded in December 1816 as the first savings bank to organize and do business in the United States. When you enter Bolero you are taking a step back in history. A time when service in hospitality was the staple of every event. Housed in a historic bank building we offer 4 unique venues. Our Speakeasy graces the ground level topped by the first-floor Vault Room and then the crowning glory is our Grand Ballroom with soaring 25ft ceilings and arched windows. We also have an urban oasis of a courtyard perfect for receptions and ceremonies.
