Tyler Arboretum is a gorgeous expanse of pristine woodlands, wildflower meadows, winding stream valleys, and butterfly-filled gardens nestled into the green rolling hills just 30 minutes west of Philadelphia. Among the historic structures preserved here, the centerpiece is a handsome stone-bank barn set into the grassy hillside, now outfitted for events and celebrations with tented flagstone patios, airy banquet rooms, private green room suites, and a rustic party loft with exposed beams and sliding barn doors.

Pheasant Run Farm Bed and Breakfast is a 48 farm, the original stone barn of the farm has been lovingly re-purposed into a bed and breakfast. The bed and breakfast features 4 overnight rooms. The ground floor, with separate entrances, has a large banquet room and a separate adjoining space perfect for indoor ceremonies and dancing. Outside the doors of the reception rooms is a large brick patio and pollinator garden, just right for cocktail hour. At the edge of the woods is a huge Maple tree and a waterfall where most of our couples choose to have their wedding ceremony. The Barn was purchased in 2008 and the couple quickly went to work transforming the building which had recently been an art gallery into the premier catering facility that it has become. Located at 737 W Fort McClure Blvd in Bloomsburg, the property provides privacy and seclusion for its guests but is only a few minutes away from hotels and downtown Bloomsburg. The Barn features a huge second story deck that wraps around half the building; it provides a wonderful space for guests during the warmer months.

Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. It’s one of our greatest assets to be able to give our clients a robust and fulfilling event experience.

The Reading Country Club grand ballroom, our most popular reception venue, comfortably serves approximately 250 guests and has a large dance floor. Between anniversary dinners, baby showers, and birthday parties, there are endless occasions to get together and celebrate at Reading Country Club.

The Ballroom is part of the Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center. French Creek Golf Club offers a stunning venue for all of your special events. New world amenities meet historic decor in our versatile 3000 square foot ballroom, Terrace Room and restored 1820 bank barn. Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

The building is steeped in history and reflected in the original wood moldings, hand carved mahogany staircase, and mercer tiled fireplaces. Archaeologist, anthropologist, ceramist, scholar and antiquarian, Mercer built Fonthill both as his home and as a showplace for his collection of tiles and prints. The first of three Mercer buildings in Doylestown, Fonthill served as a showplace for Mercer’s famed Moravian tiles. Designed by Mercer, the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles. Your guests will be amazed when they enter the tree-lined grounds and visit this amazing castle.

Our historic Doylestown property is the perfect backdrop to assure your next event goes down in the history books! The Highlands offers a unique setting for your special day. Only 17 miles north of downtown Philadelphia, on top of a hill sits The Highlands. This elegant, two-centuries-old Georgian style mansion is surrounded by 44 acres of rolling hills and beautifully landscaped gardens. Completed in 1796, the mansion features fifteen foot ceilings and bright spacious rooms in addition to a 2 acre formal garden and the ambiance of the surrounding estate.

Bolingbroke Mansion was built fifty years before the American Declaration of Independence and is just fifteen miles from where that historic event took place. This location has six event rooms, including several excellent outdoor ceremonies and reception locations. Indoors, the mansion can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. You'll find a beautiful staircase in their gardens that provides a stunning backdrop for photos. There is a side porch overlooking the sprawling green lawns and giant trees for cocktails and receptions. Seasonal flowers, lovely deciduous trees, and evergreens can be found in the magnificent private gardens that lead off Bolingbroke's back patio. Sitting atop twenty-three acres of picturesque Chester County countryside, the exquisite Main Line estate known as Hilltop House includes grand formal gardens, fountains, apple orchards, and sloping meadows. Built in 1894, this unique and elegant mansion in Devon, Pennsylvania, was home to several prominent Main Line families until it was renovated for public use in 2005. Generous rooms with multiple entryways provide easy traffic flow throughout the spacious wood-paneled interiors, verandas, and terraces. Built By Dimmick Drake in 1906, Castle Inn was the last of the great hotels to be built in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. From celebratory rehearsal dinners to surprise birthday shenanigans to small, intimate commemorations, Cracked Pepper has helped many a Lancastrian plan the perfect menu to please their guests. Now, the duo at Cracked Pepper Catering are excited to finally announce the opening of their newest venture in dining and service! Open to the public, with easy and nearby parking on site, PepperTheo Cafe is located on the Lancaster Theological Seminary grounds in a devastatingly unique space known as the refectory.

At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.
