Justin was such a pleasure to work with from the start and went above and beyond to make sure that my partner and I were comfortable in the run-up to the wedding and on our wedding day (which is saying a lot, because my partner hates taking/being in pictures). On the wedding day, Justin was even more incredible than I could have imagined. He made us both feel at ease the entire wedding, making us laugh and seamlessly capturing amazing pictures along the way. All night and since the wedding, we've had family and friends tell us how incredible Justin was- his easygoing, friendly demeanor made an already really special day even better and we are so grateful to have him as our photographer. The pictures he captured are stunning (no surprise given the work we'd seen of his before) but I was blown away by the candid moments he was able to capture that we will cherish forever. “My husband and I originally didn’t want a wedding video, thinking that photos would be enough - but now that we’re on the other side of the big day we're so glad we ended up getting a video!! Stan was super sweet and easy to communicate with. He arrived around the same time as our photographer, and got lots of great shots of us without feeling like he was directing or was in the way. I didn’t even notice him at our ceremony to be honest - but that didn’t stop him from getting excellent footage! Our final video is a beautiful compilation of intimate and big moments, and I’ve been watching it on repeat since we got it. The footage is crisp and clear, he caught beautiful moments, and his editing style is smooth and natural. He also provided us with uncut versions of our ceremony and the speeches at dinner, which is super special - all within a few weeks! “We can’t thank Sarah's team enough for creating such gorgeous florals and installations, even with a rain delay and plan B fully in effect. We appreciated her ability to ‘bring the outside in’ and it really felt like that. Sarah went above and beyond to make our floral dreams come true, all while respecting our budget and working hard to give us what we wanted. The white ceremony columns with the white urns on top truly looked like an art installation; they were stunning. They were the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. THE STAIRCASE. I have never heard so many compliments. It was DREAMY. The tiny vines that spun around the railing. The ivy. The floral focal point at the bottom. It was better than I could have even imagined. It also smelled amazing and was the perfect place to do the wedding toasts, it will live forever in our videos and photos! The mantle installations also looked amazing (again something I wish I had more time to look at!!). THE PEONIES. It’s official that our wedding had a signature scent and it was PEONY! Which was also fitting since I wore peony perfume that day so now peonies will forever remind me of our wedding day which is so exciting for me because I love them. THE CENTERPIECES were perfect floating masterpieces just like I imagined. The combination of florals Sarah put together was classic but with an abstract/ organic twist and I loved all of the different unique buds in each one. The BOUQUETS turned out so beautiful. I loved how they were different but complimented each other so well. For my hair, I asked for a pretty big change the day of (compared with what was done at my trial) and it was better than I could have expected. Finally, two of my bridesmaids are big into makeup and sat with one of the Amie's assistants for hours during the day asking about products and they have been using some she recommended since! For a vendor that I spent a ton of time researching prior to selecting one, Amie, Kelley, and their team were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone, no matter your style or tastes. They may have been slightly higher priced than some of the others I looked at but they were more than worth it - hair and makeup is not something you don't want to be happy with on your wedding day! “We hired Swept for our October 2022 wedding. They were very professional and made the process very easy to schedule their services. Jaime, the owner, was perfect to work with. I had 5 bridesmaids, and 3 parents/grandparents needed hair and makeup services. When one of our bridesmaids passed away, Jaime was perfect and patient with us for changing the amount of people needing services. Then closer to the wedding date, before final payment, I had some bridal party want to add services on, and some didn’t need services anymore. Jaime was so amazing and adapted our contract to any changes that needed to happen. She was such an angel in the stress of wedding planning. When we scheduled my trial, I still wasn’t 100% sure what my wedding look was going to be. Sarah did my makeup, and I told her I wanted a more natural look. She came up with the most perfect natural glam look that I loved! Ciarrah did my hair. I showed her multiple inspiration pictures that were similar hairstyles, and explained I honestly wasn’t sure which one I should do for my fine hair type. She was so kind, and willing to try different options to find the perfect one. Her first hairstyle pic was the winner but it still didn’t feel perfect. She suggested letting some hair hang out of the bun, and it was so beautiful! Wedding day, we had all the bridesmaids stay the night in an air bnb to make everything easier in the morning. Sarah and Ciarrah were so efficient and had everybody done before the latest time they could be done. Everyone looked gorgeous! We had music playing that made it such a fun atmosphere on my wedding day! I felt like a princess! They both made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Perfect company to hire! “My fiancé mentioned offhand that he knew a really great wedding photographer before we were even engaged. I started following her on Instagram and went down a rabbit hole on her blog, and I was instantly obsessed with her. I could tell that we had a lot in common, and I immediately wanted to make her my friend in addition to being our photographer. Her talent simply blows me away. I love that her photos capture moments in time and really make you feel something when you look at them. They aren't overly posed, and that's what I really wanted for our wedding photography. We had such a good time doing our engagement photos. Brea is just fun and easy to talk to. She never makes you feel awkward or uncomfortable, and we were just able to relax and have a good time.....and it shows in our photos. We love them so much. She was also super helpful leading up to the wedding when I had random questions about veil lengths and vendor recommendations. Then she even fit us in right before the holidays to do a quick mini session with our dog for Christmas card photos. The day of the wedding, Brea was so much fun to be around while I was getting ready. My fiancé and brother had a great time hanging out with her second shooter, Jim, and Brea's mom was an absolute gem, helping out with family photos, holding my bouquet, and making sure I didn't get my dress dirty before the ceremony. They worked so well with our dog, too, who can get a little noisy! We got so many compliments from our guests about Brea’s whole team–how awesome Brea and Jim were and how wonderful Brea’s mom was running our photobooth (which was also a huge hit that we highly recommend!) Brea’s team stayed until our wedding ended at 10 PM, and she still sent us sneak peek photos that night!!! We got our full gallery yesterday, and the photos are amazing. We love every single one of them. I’m honestly not even sure how they got some of the shots they did–they truly were like silent ninjas during the ceremony–but every single one of the photos makes me smile. There are not enough words or space to express how awesome Brea and her team are. Just do yourself a favor and book her the next time you need a photographer, but especially for your wedding. They were flexible with catering ($500 fee to bring in an outside caterer with qualifications), affordable pricing, and very helpful staff that gave us ideas and tips for setting up a beautiful wedding. We used the outdoor patio next to the mansion for the ceremony and moved into the Vollmer Center for the cocktail hour and reception, which was able to host almost 200 people. Chairs and tables are included, but we decided to rent our own chairs for both reception and ceremony. Overall, it was a spectacular experience and not stressful, even though we did all of the planning on our own.”
