Hi. I’m Josh. Our work is based in Washington, DC, often in San Francisco and we’re happy to travel. The best photographs are simple, unobtrusive, and spontaneous. Memory fills in the gaps - this is how authentic photography captivates us. We've always sought to remember things exactly how they happened - how we felt. The goal is to unobtrusively document your day through artful frames. I'm a firm believer there is no single best photographer anywhere in the world - but there are artist the align with your vision. Wedding - 8 Hours

Peak pricing $6,500
Off-peak pricing $6,500
The package includes two photographers, overnight preview photos, 1000+ complete gallery photos, a couples portrait session either before or after the wedding and 4 years of website hosting with print, sharing and download capabilities. Wedding - 5 Hours

As with everything we offer, our wedding package is simple and scalable. It's $3500 for the first 5 hours and $1000 for every hour thereafter up to the 10th hour. The 11th hour onwards is $600. The package includes one photographer, overnight preview photos, 800+ complete gallery photos and 2 years of website hosting with print, sharing and download capabilities. Elopement - 2 Hours

Elopements are weddings with fewer than 5 guests. Each additional hour is $500. Portrait Session A

Off-peak pricing $250
Our portrait session is simple, scalable and uncompromising. Package A is designed for those who need fewer photos. The session begins at $250 and includes 30-minutes, 2 edited portraits and is available in Columbia, MD. The travel fee to DC, Baltimore and anywhere in between is $100. Each additional edited portrait is $100.

Josh is so fun to work with. He's so humble and sweet, yet takes his job very seriously. While chatting and making you laugh, he's also aware of his surroundings knowing where the light is hitting to capture a great shot. Can’t recommend enough! From the very beginning, Josh was engaging, helpful, and so curious about what envisioned for our day and how to capture our personalities through his work. The result is a beautiful set of photographs that captured the emotions and joy experienced by so many. I cannot remember seeing much of Josh once the ceremony and festivities started, but I see his unique eye in all the photographs - the tears, the laughs, the details that we missed while in the midst of this joyous occasion. Josh is clear with his communication, very punctual, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our wedding planner said that our photography selection would be very important as after all is said and done we’d mostly rely on the pictures to relive this beautiful moment and we are so glad we picked Josh Fernandez Photography.
