It also smelled amazing and was the perfect place to do the wedding toasts, it will live forever in our videos and photos! The mantle installations also looked amazing (again something I wish I had more time to look at!!). THE PEONIES. It’s official that our wedding had a signature scent and it was PEONY! Which was also fitting since I wore peony perfume that day so now peonies will forever remind me of our wedding day which is so exciting for me because I love them. THE CENTERPIECES were perfect floating masterpieces just like I imagined. The combination of florals Sarah put together was classic but with an abstract/ organic twist and I loved all of the different unique buds in each one. The BOUQUETS turned out so beautiful. I loved how they were different but complimented each other so well. I could tell that we had a lot in common, and I immediately wanted to make her my friend in addition to being our photographer. Her talent simply blows me away. I love that her photos capture moments in time and really make you feel something when you look at them. They aren't overly posed, and that's what I really wanted for our wedding photography. We had such a good time doing our engagement photos. Brea is just fun and easy to talk to. She never makes you feel awkward or uncomfortable, and we were just able to relax and have a good time.....and it shows in our photos. We love them so much. She was also super helpful leading up to the wedding when I had random questions about veil lengths and vendor recommendations. Then she even fit us in right before the holidays to do a quick mini session with our dog for Christmas card photos. The day of the wedding, Brea was so much fun to be around while I was getting ready. My fiancé and brother had a great time hanging out with her second shooter, Jim, and Brea's mom was an absolute gem, helping out with family photos, holding my bouquet, and making sure I didn't get my dress dirty before the ceremony. They worked so well with our dog, too, who can get a little noisy! We got so many compliments from our guests about Brea’s whole team–how awesome Brea and Jim were and how wonderful Brea’s mom was running our photobooth (which was also a huge hit that we highly recommend!) Brea’s team stayed until our wedding ended at 10 PM, and she still sent us sneak peek photos that night!!! We got our full gallery yesterday, and the photos are amazing. We love every single one of them. I’m honestly not even sure how they got some of the shots they did–they truly were like silent ninjas during the ceremony–but every single one of the photos makes me smile. There are not enough words or space to express how awesome Brea and her team are. Just do yourself a favor and book her the next time you need a photographer, but especially for your wedding. Westminster Hall and Burying Ground

“Overall, we loved our wedding here! We picked this venue in part because it’s so beautiful that the decor we would need to do would be minimal. We were right about that, and there was even some decor provided by the venue in the form of trees with lights. The organ is absolutely beautiful. There is an inside area with a table that’s perfect for cards, seating charts, and a guest book. The layout with upper areas around the organ makes a nice configuration for guest seating. The biggest downside was the bridal getting ready suite is very small and there isn’t a separate area for the groom, so we got ready and took pictures at a nearby hotel. The grounds are also lovely and were great for first look pictures in the graveyard (which is permissible if done tastefully). You can pay an extra 100/hour for the guests to tour the catacombs under the church, which was a nice touch. My other complaint was the technical difficulties — we couldn’t get the microphone at the podium to work so we had to project, and the bass in the music using their auxiliary system kept going in and out. The grounds keeper kept an eye on things for us in terms of crowd control and lighting.”

Westminster Hall, formerly a Presbyterian church has a unique combination of early Gothic Revival appearances, mixed with today’s modern conveniences. The restored Gothic church has elegant stained glass windows, carved oak woodwork and an 1882 Johnson pipe organ. People appreciate Westminster's prime location at the corner of Fayette and Greene Streets in downtown Baltimore. Immediately adjacent are the University of Maryland Baltimore, University of Maryland Medical Center, Maryland Bar Center, and Baltimore VA Medical Center. Within walking distance are Oriole Park, M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the Convention Center, and major hotels, retailers and businesses.

When we said goodbye at the end of the reception we told her just how natural everything felt with her throughout the day. We were able to meet her via an hour long zoom call prior to booking and she was very thorough in explaining the whole Brittany Dunbar Photography experience. We chose the package with 8 hours of coverage, two shooters and engagement photoshoot. We were able to customize this and had Brittany photograph our welcome event instead of the engagement shoot. But she still had dinner with us months before our wedding and did a mini photoshoot with us. So great! Brittany is professional, personable, nice, creative, inclusive and organized. She's got this business down to a science. We could trust her with any wedding advice even outside of photography. Her vibrant yet dark and moody style matched our wedding aesthetic perfectly. Our lighting tech mistakenly used the wrong color lighting for our reception and Brittany was able to edit this for us! We especially love the platform she uses for wedding albums.
