The white ceremony columns with the white urns on top truly looked like an art installation; they were stunning. They were the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. THE STAIRCASE. I have never heard so many compliments. It was DREAMY. The tiny vines that spun around the railing. The ivy. The floral focal point at the bottom. It was better than I could have even imagined. It also smelled amazing and was the perfect place to do the wedding toasts, it will live forever in our videos and photos! The mantle installations also looked amazing (again something I wish I had more time to look at!!). THE PEONIES. It’s official that our wedding had a signature scent and it was PEONY! “Booking Rachel Stenger was one of the best vendor decisions that my husband and I made for our wedding day. Even from the first meeting we had with Rachel, she has such a calming and warm presence which we knew was what we would need the day of. She has such a unique way of photographing and capturing moments that make her so special and unlike a lot of other wedding photographers we met with. We did an engagement session with her and she made us feel so at ease, like most couples we're not naturally in front of the camera but she was able to easily talk us through poses throughout the session. We had a call the month of to discuss details with her - e.i, timeline, shot list, etc. This was a great call because it helped all of us get on the same page for day of. Forwarding to the wedding day - Rachel arrived early to start on capturing details. She helped us stay on-time during getting ready and first look since my DoC was at the venue setting up. She was able to capture SO many images throughout the day from getting ready all the way to the dance floor. Aside from the staged/traditional photos you'd expect from the wedding, she captured so many beautiful candid moments. She moved in SILENCE, I truly didn't see her for most of the day (in a good way!) yet we ended up with 750 images in the 7 hrs we hired her for. She captured everything and more. When we finally got the full album - my husband and I spent had an amazing 2 hours reliving every single moment! She blew us away and we were not prepared by how beautifully she captured the day - all of the details, the emotions, and the aesthetics, were EVERYTHING! Her talent is remarkable and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I'd recommend her to anyone - in fact, I already have a friend that's hired her for their day.”

“My husband and I had a wonderful time working with Cylburn. They were flexible with catering ($500 fee to bring in an outside caterer with qualifications), affordable pricing, and very helpful staff that gave us ideas and tips for setting up a beautiful wedding. We used the outdoor patio next to the mansion for the ceremony and moved into the Vollmer Center for the cocktail hour and reception, which was able to host almost 200 people. Chairs and tables are included, but we decided to rent our own chairs for both reception and ceremony. Overall, it was a spectacular experience and not stressful, even though we did all of the planning on our own.”
