I have been in the beauty business for over 25 years. I worked at a salon for 15 years before I decided to branch out on my own. I love being a part of a Bride's wedding day and making her look and feel like a Queen! I also love managing my amazing team and teaching them things I have learned along the way. When I am not painting faces or managing my team, you can find me at home with my family or shopping at Home Goods with an iced coffee in my hand.

My specialty is natural looking makeup that enhances your beauty as well as looking flawless in photos! I love lashes and like to complete every makeup look with a pair! When lashes are applied correctly and cut to fit your eye, they are comfortable and look so natural. I also love doing textured up-do's. Hair that looks loose, romantic and effortless but will last all night long.

My experience with Swept has had both positive and negative moments. To set up a trial my appointment was canceled 1x due to Covid and then almost the second time 2 weeks before my wedding. I was told the hair stylist couldn't come in that day due to a family emergency, which I understand happens and am very apologetic for and was when talking to Jamie. However when I pushed back and asked to have someone else cover, as is the point of a larger company with multiple stylists, the mood of the conversation immediately changed and I was treated rudely. I did express my concerns that now there were 2 cancelations and I was concerned about my wedding day because both times rhe cancel came about 1-2 hours before the trial. Jamie was able to have a different hairstylist come in after I requested it and I appreciate them working hard for me. On the wedding day only 1 sylist, the makeup artist Alishba was on time for the wedding. The 2 hair stylists were late and only 1 sent me a text to let me know. I had to ask Alishba where the other hair stylist was. We were already on a tight getting ready schedule. Then apparently numbers were miscalculated, I take responsibility for not ensuring this was correct before, however the stylists said they were willing to take care of all the ladies, but cared more about getting paid than ensuring the ladies were ready (I was obviously going to pay, but then was made to pay while I was trying to get my makeup done as the bride). 1 of the hairstylist was apparently unwilling to add additional people because she did not know how to add to the invoice. 1 of the hairstylists did not even introduce herself to me, as the bride. Both hairstylists spent time complaining about walking to the venue from the parking lot and how inconvenient it was. The women did an incredible job with everyone's hair and makeup and we were all thrilled with the outcome, but I will admit it was not easy communicating and working with this company. Due to HMU we were running almost an hour late in our timeline, especially because hair didn't start until over 30 minutes after the set start time.

Thank you for your feedback. I am so glad you were happy with your hair and makeup services the day of the wedding. I am not sure what you mean about the mood changing after the covid and family death situation. It was clearly out of my control and I was able to get you a new artist within 5 minutes while still keeping your trial date and time so I’m not sure what you mean about “the perks of booking a team”. You actually did get to enjoy that perk because I was able to change out your artist so fast. The lead person at your venue told my artists to park a mile away in a spot that usually requires a shuttle so I was told that is why you all ran late and that was not their fault. I do wish you would have come to me instead of writing such a confusing review. Especially since you were happy with all of your services. I’m sorry for any miscommunication and I wish you all the best!

I had a great experience with SWEPT! Setting up a trial for my makeup was easy and such a nice clean studio. My makeup artist, Sammie, was so sweet and did an amazing job! Planning for the day of was easy, the makeup artists were so flexible and did an amazing job. Myself and my bridesmaids looked amazing!

Swept, LLC was an absolute pleasure to work with this past year. The process for booking their services was so easy and Jamie, the owner, was great to work with. Sallie did my hair and makeup for our wedding day, as well as my mom’s, and she did a wonderful job! My hair and makeup lasted for 12 hours and was exactly what I asked for. My bridesmaids had hair and makeup done by Jordan and Lorena, both were excellent and so friendly. Everyone loved how their hair and makeup turned out! Their communication leading up to the event was detailed, transparent, and extremely professional. There were no hidden charges or fees, which I really appreciated. They arrived early and worked efficiently, leaving plenty of time for touch-ups to ensure everyone looked and felt their best. I was thrilled with the quality of their work and the value they provided. I would highly recommend Swept, LLC to any couple planning their wedding.

Jamie and Alishba were wonderful! My bridesmaids and I all loved how our hair and makeup turned out. They were also so lovely and fun to work with! They definitely made me feel like I was in good hands on my wedding day.
