Jacob helped escort guests out, quickly hid, played our song, and still managed to have the spark boxes go off at the PERFECT time. I seriously could not recommend District Remix more. On another note, my very close friends used a different DJ from District Remix for their wedding a few weekends after my own wedding. The music and vibes were also INCREDIBLE all due to the DJ. “We liked Edward Zaruba a lot initially because when we talked, he was concise and seemed fun as opposed to some of the other DJs we spoke to. Picking a DJ was hard because unlike a photographer where you can look through their work, you generally go off of price and vibes because you can’t sit through an entire set as your wedding set list is based off yourself. Edward didn’t talk too much and to be transparent, we didn’t want a DJ that would talk more than they played music, so that paired with his price point made him a good fit for us. We had a good experience with him on our wedding day. His system for the outside was simple but worked the way we needed it to. He hid everything behind some of the greenery so that none of the guests could see it and it would not be in view for the pictures. Even though the weather was windy that day, the microphones picked up well on the all of the sound. He set the groom and officiant up with wireless microphones that were nicely hidden. His speaker was loud and clear for everyone to hear. His system for the inside was also great for the space and the included dance lighting added a nice vibe for the night and turned out nice in our photos. Our only (half) complaint was we gave him a must, MUST playlist (about 6 songs), and only a few of them played. We think this can be attributed more so to lack of time to play all the songs we love and of course know even if we could have spent an additional hour dancing, there probably would have been songs we missed. Outside of that, he picked phenomenal music, and he knew how to transition from one song to the next to keep everyone on the dance floor and having fun. We appreciated his ability to introduce our party and us. He spoke the perfect amount and did great with the nights transitions.”

“From start to finish, our experience with Lee was nothing short of amazing!!! When we first met Lee in 2019, he welcomed us into his studio with open arms and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. It quickly became apparent that Lee valued his relationship with us and that, for him, to truly capture the essence of our special day he wanted to understand our unique relationship. We shared a glass of delicious wine and talked for over an hour, reviewed some of his work, shared our vision of our wedding, and shared important details of our story together. My wife and I felt so comfortable with him, like we were already friends, and not just another client. I still remember the way I felt walking out of his studio that day. When we had a small "backyard BBQ" wedding in October 2020 for our official marriage (we didn't want to wait another year), out of the goodness of his heart, Lee volunteered to come shoot our day and help capture those precious moments with close family and bridal party. And, at long last, on our big wedding day in November 2021, Lee delivered amazing photographs and an unforgettable experience beyond our highest expectations! He brings extensive experience to the table and we were so impressed with how deftly he moved and how efficiently he operated throughout our wedding day. “No amount of words can express our gratitude to Lester & Dreisbach Photography and I could spend all day talking about how wonderful they are. They are beyond amazing and such beautiful human beings! We had searched high & low for the perfect fit and they both exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was back in November 2021 and the weather was pretty much all seasons rolled into one day making things extremely difficult and how they made it all work is a miracle! “I hired The Polar Peddler for the floral decor for my wedding and I was stunned with how perfectly Dana just 'got' my vision! I asked for jewel tones with an emphasis on varying texture. I didn't have many 'must have' flowers but I did have a few I liked and a few I didn't, and that's all I had to tell her! I had purchased some dyed/dried florals and peacock feathers before I organized with Dana and she was even willing to add these items in for me! When she showed up the morning of, I was astounded at how well she made it look like those elements were part of the plan the entire time. I started following her on Instagram and went down a rabbit hole on her blog, and I was instantly obsessed with her. We love every single one of them. They were flexible with catering ($500 fee to bring in an outside caterer with qualifications), affordable pricing, and very helpful staff that gave us ideas and tips for setting up a beautiful wedding. We used the outdoor patio next to the mansion for the ceremony and moved into the Vollmer Center for the cocktail hour and reception, which was able to host almost 200 people. Chairs and tables are included, but we decided to rent our own chairs for both reception and ceremony. Overall, it was a spectacular experience and not stressful, even though we did all of the planning on our own.”
